Remember that group of Islamofascists who wanted to parade through Wooton Basset (the town where dead british soldiers are re-patriated) in protest about... something along the lines of 'KILL WHITEY!', I think..

Well:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8451014.stm

I like the fact that they're trying to say it was all their decision not to march - yep, sure. Nothing to do with being some of the most hated people in the country because of this whole sorry affair.

Laugh away. Would a group of terrorist-supporting fascists be allowed to march through the same streets Australian bodies where carried through? Would you consider that funny?

Maybe. It would all depend on whether or not we were distracted by something new and shiny at the time.

Yeah and then Obama would apologize to the world for our behavior concerning supporters of terrorists.

Ah, America. Land of the free (unless you are Caucasian).

@EF - More Brits die there, because there are more Brits there. There are 500 Australians there. If you're going to take the piss out of the British Armed Forces, try not to be Australian.

Is this really an issue of substance, or just something to fuel shocking Daily Mail headlines?

'Jerks propose rally, experience strong public reaction then back down' isn't really the kind of stuff that determines the fate of a nation, is it?

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Your ability to be shocked at the actions of the Obama that exists in your head could fill medical journals. It's really fascinating stuff.

The rest of your schtick, about how whitey is keeping the white man down, is a probably a lot less interesting from a medical perspective.

There's a body of research in neuroscience which deals with nothing other than cognitive dissonance.

But Fateweaver's version is no greater or clearer than that of millions, perhaps hundreds of millions worldwide. It's that first part, where he maintains outrage over things that Obama might have done in hypothetical examples that's really something unique.

I've seen it elsewhere, but not as strongly or as obvious as Fateweaver's.

Closing Gitmo due to "supposed" abuse and making war criminals into normal felons in a non-military courtroom I'd say is coddling to the supporters of terrorism.

So no, the Obama that apologizes to known terrorists by letting them be tried in a criminal court and not in front of a military tribunal is the Obama that is our President.

Unless I'm in a different USA where Obama is NOT trying to close gitmo? I mean, he is trying to close it isn't he or is that all a ploy by Fox News to make Obama look bad?

bs. Just because one black guy gets elected, you think that suddenly everyone hates white people? For feth's sake.

I am not referring to the race card that those who accuse people of not voting for Obama are doing.

Sorry Dogma. Gitmo detainees are WAR CRIMINALS. They were doing things based on a military that told them to and have ties to an organized militia therefore they should be tried in front of a military tribunal. The only reason they are getting tried as CIVILIAN FELONS is because the ACLU and everyone else doesn't think Gitmo is treating them fair and using "torture" methods. Gitmo is a nicer prison than any max. security prison you will find on US soil. If an American soldier rapes an Iraqi or Afghani woman (and some have) they get court marshaled and tried in front of a military tribunal, NOT a civilian criminal court. Not sure why because any judge with balls will sentence to death those men behind the 9/11 attacks. Maybe the ACLU and AI are hoping the judge will crack under political pressure and give them a slap on the hand.

I just love how the Islamics decided not to march in the UK and the UK posters come on saying things like "yeah lets drag them through the streets" or "the cowards were afraid of what would happen" but if that same thing happened in the US we, the US as a whole, would be branded "hate mongers" and "racist" and "anti-Islamic" and then we would see Obama get up on his pedestal (or would that be step down from his throne in Heaven?) and say "this is a tragic incident and in no way does this reflect upon the general attitude and feelings that America has for those on foreign soil".

News flash Obama. If you are Islamic and you support destroying the West (and they do as we are looked upon as infidels and the Koran teaches scouring the Earth clean of infidels) I have no sympathy for someone who tries to blow up a plane or is behind the destruction of a national monument, killing 1000's of people.

I think now I'll go back to cleaning my guns, drinking beer and listening to country as any red-blooded American would do.

Ok. Though the phrase you're looking for is 'alleged war criminals'.

Nope. Not how international law works. Your feelings are irrelevant.

Yes, that's what happens when you conscientiously join the military.

Right. Well, events have rhetorical power.

Yeah, some people would say that. Do you depend upon popular assent for you self image?

There is no way to correct this statement that doesn't involve an essay, or a flame.

YOUR reality where we can all hold hands, sing Kumbaya because 9/11 wasn't plotted by people who hate the West and that Obamacare will save the country and allow more people to get healthcare (the last one might be true but at increased expense to those of us not sucking off the system).

Or

The real reality where people who hate the West want to destroy us, from the inside and the outside; where Obamacare will feth this country worst than the private insurers have (and apparently quite a few Dems are finally seeing this as well) and where our administration feels we owe it to China and other parts of the world and so we must show them fealty and apologize and kiss their asses.

I live in reality #2.

I'll be the odd man out and say I don't agree with this one bit. If groups like the Klan can spout crap in peace on MLK day then they should be allowed to march as well. As long as the don't violently act they can spew as much slowed hate as any other keep our country pure nuts. But if you deny them you just prove thier point.
