Eversine i read an article in bols about twinkie hotdogs i was wondering what you snack down or drink during gametime.
me chips and soda. if i were to play.

I usually have some sort of drink on hand when gaming, Pepsi Throwback lately, otherwise a Mountain Dew or a water. I can't say I've ever eaten while gaming, but I know that we've taken breaks to get food.

No food at all. Don't want my shiny models soiled/ants crawling through my army case, Drinks however tend to be of the carbonated and flavored variety.

Yeah, generally no food while gaming. Drinks though, well, I mainline caffeine at the best of times so it's either Dr. Pepper, Coffee, Tea, Coke (NOT Pepsi), Diet Coke, or Mountain Dew Baja Blast.

Mostly black coffee though.

Most often I get a pizza while at the FLGS. There is a good pizzaria in the same strip mall so it's convenient.

Haven't eaten anything yet, but only thing I'd eat is something that wouldn't touch my hands.

However, I consume mountain dew like a madman.

I do not eat while gaming, even casually. I'll probably have a drink, though.

For tournaments, I always bring or buy lunch, eating between rounds 1 and 2. I bring a snack for between rounds 2 and 3. I drink 1 16-oz bottle of water during each game.

Gotta keep my blood sugar steady and stay hydrated to stay on top of my game

I only drink the blood of my enemies!

Although occasionally a strawberry yoohoo, or a sasperella. Or grenadine, straight from the can! Oh, and occassionally I do enjoy a Sex on the Beach, or a Pina Colada.

Remember to wash your hands guys , especially after eating pizza.

Usually what me and my buddies do (We don't have a LFGS) is we all bring 5 or so bucks, dish it and order pizza midway to munch on, or eat at the end of a game. Pretty effective.

Other than that, We buy cookies by the truckload and munch those down with pop.

When i'm at home i'll usually have a stew, pie or pot of something in the oven to be eaten at the end or halfway through the game.
Sometimes have a pizza to just throw in the oven for a quick snack or order a curry if we're drinking.

When i'm at the flgs i'll have a coffee before and maybe one during and grab a burger or sandwich on my way home.

QFT! I drink mountain dew while gaming for optimum performance... no food, though!

For short games snickers and coffee or any non-alcoholic sparkling drink; for longer evening games the 'Beer and Kebab' break is a strong tradition for me and my friend (but sometimes we replace it by the 'Coke and Pizza' break when playing with younger gamers).

I've heard about some vicious people offering tasty fat meals (potatoes and bacon with a loooot of cheese for example) to their opponent during evening games, just to get them sleepy enough not to notice this tiny chaos icon hidden behind their lines... (he won't get me this way anymore )

I try not to eat when playing a game as I get paranoid about grubby, greasy paw prints on my models. If I'm having a large game we tend to break half way through and get a take away. Normaly this involves a large kebab meat pizza washed down with Irn Bru. However now I'm on a diet it's more likely to be a mineral water and a banana. Tragic.

I am a smoker so i smoke my breaks away and never eat during games because most food places close by are burger joints or pizza places. I tend to drink about two or three Vaults during a tourney.

ALE! and Dominoes mighty meaty! The FLGS run a 'Pizzapocalypse' night on the first tuesday of the month. All the guys chip in £5 ($7) for the local Dominoes next door (one of the guys works there!) and rest of us bring the Ale (Hobgoblin goes down a treat, Brits will know what I mean, though a 12 pack of Fosters does the trick). STRICTLY hand washing though straight after (nothing like the feel of rolling dice after they've been in someones geasy mitts).

No solids.. only liquids. Coke, Dew, Vault..

One guy at the FLGS MUST have cheeto type snacks with every game. He is {mostly} prohibited from touching anyone elses models.

They say criminals return to the scene of the crime.....thats why there so many australians in the UK.....
But it is true.....Fosters is brewed in the E.U.....typical aussies too lazy to brew it themselves...

I love snack food, but I don't allow it at my game-table. Soda is caustic, chip grease will never come off anything you touch, powdered cheese will stain paint... the list goes on and on.

A gaming buddy of mine had a bowl of chips and some dip on the table while we were playing a game at his place. I partook in the delectable snack, but ended up dripping some dip onto the table. It was cloth and thankfully didn't harm anything, but I felt horrible. Starting that day I made a personal resolution to never snack at any game-table and to use only screw cap bottles for refreshments.

Peperoni and pineapple pizza with a IBC Black Cherry soda is te way to go.

Tournment/ GT games: no food, i find it more respectful to the opponent, soda, water, adult beverage pending event is exceptable.

1 off games in stores: still no food, unless its against a club mate/ frequent contact and we know each others lists well, and can breeze through a game, and my opponent says its ok, Drink rule above still apply.

Gathering of friends at a house: all bets are off, pizza, things eatible with forks so I don't grease up opponents models/ my own, adult beverages, whatever is handy.

If my opponents pops out a candy bar, snacks, etc, i'm not really going to care much, unless he pops out chicken wings in a GT, then picks up my models and dice and moves them, that could be a little ercking.

I show up to my saturday games with a tray of sushi and chopsticks often.

I've got to say beer when I'm having a friendly game at the house, makes for the best games to play. Food, tends to be dependant on where I am but pizza is always good.

Beer is the best, maybe it makes your play a bit sloppier, but for friendly play who really cares when you are having fun?
