This WIP is well... we'll say "unique". I'm making a Warhound Titan mostly from scratch. I ponied up & bought the guns (cuz they look like a huge PAIN) but I'm making the body from scratch using various toys, cabling pieces, doorlocks & various other things I found in my laundry room. Oh, and a dead opossum skull. I guess that's the unique part lol. It is a Death Guard Titan after all.

Any comments/suggestions welcome.

I like it so far. The head reminds me of the classic Chaos titan art. Though I am not sold on the blade teeth. I also think the weapons might need a little modding, as the titan's body dwarfs them considerably.

I think its probably a good idea round about now to point out that no animals (possums) were ahrmed in the making of this titan....

That's a beautiful model! I really like the opossum skull, definitely looks evil and chaosy. The only thing I'm worried about is if the skull isn't sealed, won't it decay and crack? Otherwise great stuff!

@ Granesh: I seal all my mini's in minwax to give 'em that nice nurgly look.
@ terribletrygon & ghosty yeah, I knew that was gona be a problem from the begining, going with a scratch-build body & FW guns. I actually started building it before & even made the purchase. Prolly should've made some.. measurements or.. somethin, lol. Any ideas on how I should mod the weapons? I've seen loyalist warhounds with banners hanging from the weapons. Or I s'pose I could always just do something nurgly like a bloated bile sack hanging off the turbo laser. It needs to be chaos'd up a bit anyway since they didn't have that model in non-imperial.

Update Time!
Alright, so I went light on the pics before, but now I found the thumbnail link ( >.< )
Recent Update: So I had the LED for his right eye all set up, just needed to head down to the shack & get a 9v adapter for the cable coming from the switch... you know, it really IS a good idea to read the fine print.. as in the fine print on the LED packaging that says 6v... yeah. Mad a nice POP & an interesting smell.



So I went & got a 12v LED that works great!



Added some extra flare to the body:









And you may have noticed some nice additions to the head including the new eye, a reinforced jaw & a tongue made out of the coolest zip-ties I have ever seen!

So that's about all I have uploaded to my PC right now. I'll be uploading picks of the top armor soon & was thinking about trying to squeeze in some nurgle pipes on the back. Dono that there's much I can do about the size of the weapons, but I'll try to make them stand out with either a tattered nurgle banner or something dead maybe. I still got a lot o' possum skeleton left! ;D

Finished the dead bodies yesterday for the top armor plating. I'm basically going for something like the victim chambers like in the war of the worlds remake, but more bloody & sickly:

Really is a shame I'm going to be covering these up cuz they came out nice!

So, I've got everything assembled & put together. The body ended up being WAY bigger than I expected so I think I may have to invent a new Warhound Pattern for this thing, like how there's a Lucius Pattern & a Mars Pattern. Thinkin maybe 'Viral Pattern' or 'Golgatha Pattern', somethin big & ugly
In any case, it's been a while so here's some pic updates:

Overall it's stil a little sloppy-looking & I apologize about the burriness of the pics. Stepped on my camera/phone this last weekend & it's a little broken. Probably going to do another coat of black just to get all the little spots & crevices but then it's on to coloring & details!

So anyone have any ideas about a pattern name? Like I mentioned earlier, it just seems absurd to call it a Lucius or Mars pattern Warhound because it looks nothing like them. O.O, how 'bout Abomination pattern Warhound Titan?

Why not make your own titan class? its absolutely huge, and stands upright. Maybe you should check the size and height dimensions. Could be Reaver titan sized if your lucky

Btw golgotha sounds like a great name for it. Either that, or gorgoroth But where are the nurglings? everything nurgley should have a nurgling clutching onto it!

Badass doesn't even begin to cover it... I love the techno-skull and the little touches really make it shine. This thing will be a beast once you paint it up. I mean, more of a beast...

Rust & details are dÜn! All that's ;eft is the gold trim & cleanin a few spots up. I'd say this fella should be ready for minwax in about 48hrs! >:]|]

I think this will be one of the best ever Titans once it is finished.

Hmmmm Golgatha, the Pandemic pattern Warhound Titan. I like it! No nurglings yet. Can't decide if I want to make them out of GS or buy the actual models. I tried my hand at 1 using GS in my LR, but still need a little proactice.

Okay. So we're about at 90% completion now, got pretty much all the construction done, finishing off the painting now. Gona get a few packs of nurglings from GW, gotta do the details on the ground & paint the dead templars at his feet & I think that's it... oh yeah, glue & minwax.
