Warriors Of Syrath: The warriors of Syrath have defiled and raided both the planets of the imperium and Xenos worlds for countless Millenia. These raids are known by many names, 'Terror Crusades', 'Raids of Darkness' and simply 'The Black Death'. Since the Heresy the ranks of his army have swelled beyond meaure as thousands of Space Marines have betrayed the Imperium of Man and rebelled in the name of Syrath. High Admiral Arrius: Arrius has been at the command of Syraths fleet for the last few hundred years and is considered to be the most evil and dedicated commander Syrath has at his disposal. Arrius is a tactical genius sometimes, however, most of the time he is little more than a deranged psychopath who has been known to slaughter his troops in order to further his own devious goals. An example of his bloodthirsty and careless nature: Arrius: "THIS IS TAKING TOO LONG! DESTROY THAT CRUISER." Chaos Navigator: “But sir, hundreds of our Marines have boarded that vessel.”. Arrius: “I DON’T CARE! KILL THEM ALL! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOOD!”. [This is quickly followed by the firing of all of the command ships weaponary and a resulting cataclysmic explosion.] The current Arrius is not the first Arrius and he will certainly not be the last. Syrath decided to name his first Space Marine follower Arrius as a memento to his first human and Daemon Pince. At the beginning of the Horus Heresy the First Arrius was lured towards Chaos by the temptations of power and knowledge so quickly found himself worshiping Tzeentch and following Syrath. After two millenia of unparalleled chaos and destruction, Arrius managed to win favour of Tzeentch and in the year 999.M33 was elevated to a Daemon Prince by the Lord of Change. After his 'ascension' Syrath saw that Arrius had a greater use than before. Arrius could be used to ensure total worship of The Ruinous Powers on conquered planets by presenting himself as a God incarnate. Since then staues of 'Arrius the Great' defile the landscapes of many of Syraths worlds. Due to the success of 'Arrius I', Syrath decided that it should be a tradition to name his Second in Command 'Arrius'. However, none of the other Arrius's have ever managed to fully win the favour of Syrath and have consequently had their souls devoured by him. The current Arrius is 'Arrius the Fifth, Scourge of Segmentum Obscurus' and has a carved out a grusome reputation in the Galactic North. He may become the second Arrius to reach Daemonhood if the bloodshed continues but as of yet, there have been no signs of mutation. He is feared by Imperial Commanders and Xenos scum alike and many have either chosen to commit suicide or flee in terror if Arrius attempts to board their ship. Hey blood reaper. I've decided to add to your current fluff (and re-type out bits of it of it without the caps lock on). I originally posted this in your old fluff thread so decided to post it here as well. Keep adding to the Fluff. However, I think Syrath should be a Greater Daemon (or even minor Chaos God?) instead of Daemon Prince. He should have already been in control a renegade force and Cultists before the heresy but as a result of Marines turning to chaos his numbers were severely bolstered. Your Friend, Gathering Storm. P.S. Good to see you posting in the forums a lot more. Oh, and I'll be there on Sunday. EDIT: I've decided to rename Corax to Arrius to avoid confusion with the Primarch of the Raven Guard. EDIT: I've revised the fluff of Arrius's origins of his name.

During the early 41st millennium Syrath sent Corax the 1st or Corax the great to destroy a small Blood angel fleet in the jubatus sector. Corax planned to ambush the Blood angels hoping that they would fall into his trap. As his plan came in to place he spread a rumour that the Warriors of Syrath where trying to invade the sector and so the Blood angels set of in search of the invaders. When the Blood angels arrived 2 of Syraths light destroyers hung in the darkness of space waiting for the Blood angels to attack. The Blood angel’s foolish commander ordered the Blood angels to attack the ships unaware of the cruisers closing in. The Blood angel’s commander most foolish mistake was not to leave any ships to protect the rear of his ship, and not noticing the ships he was attacking were Recusant-class light destroyers, one of Syraths fully automated ship that had no transportation capabilities. As the Blood angels came in range of the ships Corax came out of the Warp ambushing the Blood angels from behind, Corax tore the Blood angel’s lighter ships to shreds in a matter of seconds, Corax ordered the Light destroyers destroy the Blood angels escort ships by crashing into them, destroying them and damaging the Blood angels command ship, Corax then contacted the Blood angels commander offering him his life if he swore he would serve Syrath. The commander refused, Corax then ordered his captain to fire all weapons at the Blood angel’s ship, destroying it instantly. Three weeks later Syrath's warriors fleet invaded the sector bringing a warp storm with them.
hope its good

Syrath is an ancient “minor” Chaos god known for his evil and vile contracts and deals that could twist and corrupt the most loyal Space marine , Eldar or any creature at all , promising power and wealth . This means Syrath has truly endless forces made up of Chaos marines, traitor guard’s men, twisted mutants, Daemons of Khorne, Tzeentch and Nurgle and even a small army of Chaotic Eldar. Syrath’s origins are ancient and largely unknown but it is believed that he was “hired” by Tzeentch to steel most of malla’s powers for Tzeentch, but instead stole them for him himself. This has left him with the ability to absorb the powers of the other Gods, leading Slannesh to sign a “contract” with him to stop him from absorbing his powers.

The First Arrius (Corax) became a daemon prince in M33. So he would not be leading a fleet. Syrath's current Admiral Arrius would. Arrius seems to be a better name instead of copying the name Corax. The Origin of Syrath Syrath was originally a Lord of Change of Tzeentch who was as devious as his creator. Syrath began by sealing daemonic pacts with many lesser daemons of the Other Chaos God's in order to further his own goals. The pacts granted to the greedy daemons gave them part of Syrath's own power in exchange for them fighting for Syrath. However these pacts had hidden terms and conditions which entirely changed the allegiance of the gullible daemons from their patron god to Syrath. During the Age of Strife, before the birth of She Who Thirsts, Syrath was sent by Tzeentch to sap the essence of Malal in order to strengthen the power of the Lord of Destiny. Syrath succeeded in his task too well and while Tzeentch had his might bolstered, Syrath also gained significant influence over his fooled daemonic minions and gained the ability to fashion his own evil beings from warp energies. Many of the ostracised psyker's who where persecuted on their homeworld's during the Age of Strife pledged their souls to Syrath. They became powerful sorcerers able to bend the warp to their will. The first Psyker to dedicate his service to Syrath was a devious man called Arrius, he was also the first follower to ascend to daemonhood. Many of these sorcerers where either granted daemonhood or accidently changed into spawn by Syrath after they sacrificed the populations of entire planets to seal more daemonic pacts and summon Horror's in there thousands. As a result Syrath gained several strongholds in Segmentum Obscurous before the Adeptus Astares even took to the stars. Over the millennia Syrath the Immortal eventually became Tzeentch’s most favored servant. Syrath had proved to be exceptionally cunning and devious and had tricked the populations of entire planets into the service of The Changer of Ways. However, this position would not last. During the Horus Heresy Syrath began to plot against his master and he devised a scheme to sap Tzeentch’s power for himself. Syrath then intended to sacrifice Millions of his servants at the exact moment the Emperor was slain in order to elevate himself to Godhood. Tzeentch still fed off of Syrath’s scheming until he realised the full extent of Syrath’s treachery. The Architect of Fate exiled Syrath from the Warp as a punishment for his active betrayal. He materialised on Prospero, during the Space Wolf assault. He managed to corrupt a Remembrancer named Corath and instructed his new follower to help him to escape the planet. Fearing the power of Syrath, Corath agreed and smuggled Syrath (who was disguised as a Thousand Son) onto a cruiser heading towards the Eye of Terror. Syrath launched an escape pod (with Corath on board) which he piloted towards one of his captured worlds. Corath was renamed Arrius by Syrath and put in charge of all of Syrath's followers with military experience. Being thrown from the warp had weakened him significantly but as well as his apprentice Arrius, he still had in his service thousands of Bloodletters, Daemonettes, Horrors and Plaguebearers bound by oath. As the Heresy reached it’s climax, Syrath began to enslave the populations of planets abandoned by the imperium when the Astares started to return to Terra. These new followers worshiped Syrath as a God and Syrath’s strength began to increase yet again. For a thousand years Syrath waited and kept tight control of his captured worlds. Unlike other daemons who could travel the stars by returning to the Warp and subsequently exiting it, Syrath was bound to the Material Plane and therefore unable to venture off world without the aid of a space ship. This disadvantage led Syrath to creating an Armada of Renegade Imperial, Traitor Astares and even some xenos vessels. It was this armada that Syrath put his first loyal Sorcerer, Arrius, in charge of. With a fleet Syrath was able to initiate his Terror Crusades and started to extend his grip over Segmentum Obscurous. In 873.M32 the first Traitor Marines of Syrath began spearheading the planetary invasions of Imperial worlds. By the 35th Millennium Syrath had managed to gain hold of more than 300 planets in Segmentum Obscurous. In the year 498.M36 The High Lords of Terra deemed Syrath a significant enough threat to the imperium that 849 Black Templars and another 6 Astares Chapters were sent to purge the worlds under Syrath’s control. The Space Marines met fierce resistance from the Renegades and Traitor Astares. The 14 year campaign was deemed a success as Syrath’s fleet lost 34 battle cruisers, 97 worlds were liberated and 4 daemon worlds were annihilated. Unfortunately 793 lives were lost and an Astares chapter, ‘Prophets of Redemption’, were declared Traitoris Extremis for the practicing of sorcery during the Battle for Magdelon IV. Syrath’s fleet recovered over the years and by the 38th millennium Syrath reached enough power to return to the Warp. In the 41st Millennium Syrath only leads his forces into battle once every 200 years. He has swelled in power and commands forces dedicated to all four of the chaos gods. Sorcerers rip apart the warp with their minds, berserk blood crazed warriors fight for the glory of Syrath, the decayed remains of Astares bring death to Syrath’s foes and those that worship all of the God’s worship Syrath as a living saint. Of course the only objective Syrath strives for is Godhood and he will continue to increase his power until his plan succeeds... EDIT: More fluff. EDIT: Even more fluff. EDIT: More fluff than 2 kittens.

Commandent Necrosis would be a better name for Commandent Ca Ra Sakk. Arrius seems to be a more human name, since it would make more sense for Syrath to name his second in command after his first human follower. His first human followers would have probably started to appear during the Age of Strife when Daemons started to run amok all over the human planets with high Psyker densities. What do you think of my Syrath origins fluff?

Im going to start writing fluff about Necrosis , i think it is a better than Ca Ra Sakk , thanks for the advice Gathering Storm , plus Syraths origens is brillant.
Commandant Necrosis is one of Syrath’s most cold and unfeeling commanders even for a Nurgle follower. Having little emotion and felling gives Necrosis his power caring not for his troop’s lives or personal gain, his only goal is to serve Syrath. Necrosis has killed millions of Imperial servants and xenos alike in the name of Syrath, armed with “deaths scythe” a lighting claw rusted and plagued by years of war and death , Necrosis has brought terror and pain to a 1000 worlds and will bring terror to many more.
this is just a draft hope you like it.

Supreme commandant Coraks the 1st
Coraks, the darkness, death, the gathering darkness are just some of the names given to Syrath’s most loyal and feared, Dreaded and hated by Imperials and Xenos alike. Coraks has lead Syrath’s forces to victory for 10,000 years and is covered in the blood of a million worlds, ascended to a Daemon prince, by both Syrath and Tzeentch. Coraks was awarded after ascension his own personal fleet, called Coraks Elite Guard. Coraks has become more machine than Daemon, after many battles Coraks has replaced much of his body with cybernetics and machinery, in order to increase his strengths. He has altered fear and hate emotions, leading them to become cold and unfelling murderers, who’s only pleasure is to destroy and kill, unwilling leading them to become servants of Khorne. On the battle field Coraks tears down tanks and walkers alike, fighting by his side are the Forge guard, a group of his most loyal warriors, ready to give their lives for Coraks.
EDIT iv changded the name to coraks

Use the name Coraks (s instead of the x) for the High Commandant and change his fluff so that their wasn't any previous incarantions of him. Arrius should be the name of the Admiral (given I have written an A4 page of fluff about him) and Necrosis is the perfect name for a Nurgle Commandant.
Some more fluff about the current schemes of Syrath since I've only written about Syrath's origins.

With the first part of the part set, Coraks instructed his agents to spread rumours that the Warriors of Syrath where planning an invasion of the sector. A detachment of Blood Angels were sent out to search for the invaders and destroy them. The Blood Angels Fleet, under the command of Commander Vladimir, arrived at the area of space where Syrath's armada was supposed to arrive and intercepted what appeared to be an invasion force of 44 ships. However, unbeknownst to the Blood Angal fleet, two of Syraths Heavy Cruisers hung in the darkness of space, hidden behind an asteroid. The Blood Angel’s commander, who did not fully interpret the situation, ordered the Blood Angels to attack the ensuing Chaos fleet unaware of the two hidden cruisers. The Blood Angel’s commander proceeded to make his most costly mistake. He did not to leave any ships to protect the rear of his fleet, and failed to notice that the ships he were attacking were all Recusant-Class light destroyers, Fire Ships and Escort Ships. All of these ships were fully automated ships that had little or no transportation capabilities. As the Blood Angels came in range of the ships Coraks brought his two Heavy Cruisers out from behind the asteroid and ambushed the Blood angels from the rear. Coraks's ships opened fire on the engines of the Blood Angel’s ships. With the most of the ships immobilised Coraks began targeting the command bridges, effortlessly destroying vessels with one shot from the lance batteries. Coraks assembled a strike team to board the Blood Angels Command Battle Barge, the Angelic Redemption. His team embarked into a Dreadclaw which was targeted at the bridge of the Battle Barge. Coraks and his Terminators slew the Commander's Honour Gaurd with ease. Coraks lifted the pitiful Commander off of the ground and gave him a choice: Vladimir could either renounce his previous oaths and pledge his allegiance to Syrath so his crew and his ship would be spared OR he refuses and his head is ripped from his body and the ship is destroyed. The Commander accepted the offer in order to spare the lives of his crew and battle brothers. However, as soon as Coraks left the ship, Vladimir shot himself in the head with his bolt pistol so that he would not need to endure life in the service of chaos. Although the crew were spared and left unharmed the allegiance change to Chaos had caused many of the Astares to go mad with Red Thirst. The ship, now called The Red Thirst, was taken by Coraks to be his personal flagship after Vladimirs death. As well as a new ship, Coraks now had more than a hundred blood crazed monsters under his command. An invasion of the Jubatus Sector never took place but the trap had proved extremely effective and fortuatous for the Traitors. I've changed the story slightly so that the Commander took the offer but proceeded to kill kimself, Coraks gained a new flagship and many BA went mad with Red Thirst. And I change his name to Coraks The Immortal.

During M41.12 Chaos war sorcerer Syrath headed to the plane clasoc a small imperial world, torn apart by war, left to rot by the Imperium of man, with no sign of aide or help coming, the planets Guvnor Alexander declared it free from imperial rule, shortly after that he was contacted by Lord Syrath offering the Planet protection and resources, in return Guvnor Alexander would sign a “contract” saying that the Planet would belong to Syrath but would be protected by Syrath’s warriors.
As Syraths shuttle landed on the landing pad Guvnor Alexander prepared to “meet” with Lord Syrath. As Syrath steeped out of his shuttle he was followed by ten Black armoured chaos marine, each sporting a unique helmet and armour.
“Greetings Guvnor Alexander, such a pleasure to meet you in the flesh, so sorry I could not “.
“What do you mean not in the flesh? “
“I cannot leave the warp but can use this automatized terminator armour for “meetings”.
“I see shall we get on with this then?”
Guvnor Alexander lead Syrath and his body guards in to the conference room , Syrath then handed Alexander the Contract and then called in two black daemon creatures each completely black , with horn and to bright yellow eyes , one holding a Quill , the other ink , they both handed each to the Guvnor Alexander .
Syrath handed the contract.
“Sign hear please.”
As Guvnor Alexander signed he felt a chill through his spine.
“Captain ,kill all non Syrath’s warriors on the planet.”
“Yes my lord.”
“What’s going on hear Syrath! We had a deal!”
“We did Guvnor, I protect the planet and give it resources but I said nothing of the civilians or you!”
Syrath lifted his Combi weapon and shot Guvnor Alexander, soon every citizen on the planet would follow. Clasoc became a factory world producing millions of weapons, tanks and walkers.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy. |

The planets Governor, Alexander Likov declared the Hive World free from Imperial rule, shortly after his declaration of independence he was contacted by a Syrath. Syrath was willing to offer the planet protection and resources, in return Governor Alexander would sign a “contract” saying that the planet would now belong to Syrath but it would be protected by Syrath's Warriors. As Syrath's shuttle landed on the landing pad, Governor Alexander prepared to “meet” with Lord Syrath. As Syrath steeped out of his shuttle he was followed by ten Traitor Astares clad in jet black armour, each sporting a unique helmet and armour. “Greetings Governor Alexander, such a pleasure to meet you in the flesh, so sorry I could not “. “What do you mean not in the flesh? “ “I cannot freely leave the Warp, but I am able to use this automatized terminator armour for “meetings”. “I see? Shall we get on with this then?” Governor Alexander lead Syrath and his body guards into the conference room. Syrath presented Alexander with the Contract and then called in two black creatures of daemonic origin, each with a single horn and to bright yellow eyes, one held a Quill, and the other carried a bottle of blood red ink. The items were carefuly handed to Governor Alexander . Syrath pointed to the Contract. “Sign hear please.” The moment the quill had left the paper Governor Alexander felt a chill run through his spine. “Captain Razoris, kill everyone on this planet who has not sworn their allegiance to me.” “Yes my lord.” “What’s going on hear Syrath! We had a deal!” “We do have a deal Governor, I protect the planet and give it the resources but I said nothing of the civilians or you!” Syrath lifted his Combi-Melta and unloaded a Meltagun shot directly into Governor Alexander's stomach, causing the mortal man to explode as his inards boiled. Soon everyone on the planet would be enslaved or murdered. Clasoc became a daemonic Forge World producing millions of weapons, tanks and walkers for Syrath's armies. One of Syrath's many schemes .[i] I've proof read and edited the story.

It's pretty good. It's a good plot device that Syrath's contract ment that he was aiding and helping the planet but not the populace of the planet. Start some work on some more fluff. I'm currently writing fluff for Lord of Change's CSM army.
If you work on your grammar and spelling the fluff would be even better
