That's a relieve! I was a bit pissed about the console-only stuff they were apparently pulling out. It looks like that game is going be a near-guaranteed buy for me then!

especially with the new price drop on the 360 shorts (technically slims but they're more the former rather than the later).

Drat, now they're making me choose. I'd rather play it on PC, but seeing as most of the others will buy it for the 360 because they can't afford a better computer..

Thank god! I was really excited about this game but almost had a heart attack when I found that it was only for Xbox- me exchanging it in at Game Traders
But now it's all fine , Space Marine on PC! Not sure my computer can handle it,

I'm also happy for this news. Even if the game ends up being simply mediocre, it's good to know I can buy it for $50 as opposed to the $60 on PS3.

Plus, shooters simply play better on PC anyways.

I was wondering what relic was thinking making a console only game when they have made games only 4 PC in the past.

I thought it was weird but I'm happy that they came to thier senses

The Outfit was a console exclusive, a horrible one at that.

I'll still be buying it for the 360. Shooter/action controls are far more comfortable on consoles IMO; whenever I play an FPS on the PC it feels awkward not being able to do everything with two fingers and my thumbs (bar button-mashing).

Probally true in this games case. I suspect its like Gears of war gameplay needing a controller to really be able to use cover.

I might buy on PC if its only 1 player but if its co-op Ill buy on xbox so long as it s split screen

You're not saying shooters are better with a pad, are you?

If it is a true FPS, NOTHING beats a keyboard and mouse.

For the 'over the shoulder'/3rd person type games, a console is usually better, especially if it uses the greatest controller of all time, the Dual Shock.

Another reason to soldier on with my computer upgrade, and not bother with a PS3 (despite my love of all things Tekken and God of War).

Basic rule of thumb:
If you've got an outdated PC that has trouble running Dawn of War, Team Fortress 2, or even Battlefield 2?

You're going to have a bit of an issue running "modern" games that look good, without your system being a stuttering mess. It's going to cost you at least $5-600 to get it up to speed. In that case, you're just better off buying a console at that point.

Unless like HBMC you're already in the midst of upgrading, where you've already committed money to it.

Sarcasm duly noted, but I do prefer PC versatility instead of having a separate system solely for gaming. Besides I build my own comps and it usually is cheaper.

Also, I'm assuming the Space Marine was designed for console and won't be such a resource hog once ported. Here's hoping its not a glitchy port. [Praying Orkmoticon]

The computer thing is true.

But a 360 really doesn't take up that much space. Barely more than what my PC and a small monitor take up--and the 360 doesn't require a monitor, it plugs into my TV.

H.B.M.C. has got a LOT of models.
