Have you ever heard of Renard Queenston? He does some very good music, his youtube account is Nsrrenard.

I have heard of him, and he's pretty good. Space dog escape pod is pretty kick ass

Haven't listened to that one yet, but I loved Dizzy, Codemaster and Punisher. His album is...interesting. In the good way. But I swear, he's remade Sinistar like 10 times now.

His music is good for just chilling, but not the best for dancing though, in my opinion.

I don't dance ever, for any reason, at any time, in any place, but I'd probably agree with you. The BPM on some of his music is INSANE.

40k players can rave. In fact one could argue that 40k players are in fact superior ravers to non 40k players.

I like dubstep, glitch, and some breakbeat/dnb. I listen to the obvious big acts like Infected Mushroom, Pendulum, Celldweller, and Nosia.

As far as dubstep goes my favorite producer right now has to be Boregore.



Another favorite would have to be Bar 9

"tehcno" is a gak genre. "Electronica" however, is a wide genre, encompassing all forms of electronic music. When you say techno, I think I know what you mean, so here are a few of my favs that are close to what you speak of, followed by some superior DnB and dubstep..

Well Tiesto first released CDs in 1997, a few of the tracks I posted are older, and besides, a lot of older electronics sounds like garbage...well, a lot of the newer stuff does as well....most if it actually. That Robert Miles track is classic, though.

I DO consider 12-13 years old to be worthy of the "OLD" title, though...

Dont get me wrong, I love metal like most Dakkites do, but when I need some Techno, thats all that will work for me

nah you can put any kind of techno/electronic you want. Jumpstyle kicks ass!

makes me think a bit what music in a 40k dive might sound like.

I think I've been moving a bit away from techno though and exploring post rock/shoegazing a bit more.

I am enjoying Deadmau5 a great deal at the moment. Also, Panjabi MC, but that's not techno per se, more electronica-meets-north indian music.

Why do you get people throwing dubstep tunes up on here yet offline nobody knows what I'm talking about. Just spent last week in Aiya Napa not one dubstep night to be found. Come out of hiding people!

Anyways give these a blast...

They may not fit what your going for but heres the style of tecno-ish things I tend to go for.

So I decided to contribute to this

I'll start with Crystal Castles. Not all their songs are good, but there are some (mostly when she's not trying to sing like she's still in a noise punk band ).









Some of their songs have really crazy lyrics though, theres a couple that sound like random sentences smashed together. Including one with the line "AIDS robot is clad in iron bolts".


Then Justice


I don't really like Phantom Pt.II though.
