Now the mood is set i will preech my idea...This blog will follow my ODST themed army or "Helljumpers" im going to be using elysians with green-stuffed pig iron heads and lots of extra Gubbinz.
The army will be an imperial guard Vet list with lots of flyers.

I want the army to have an atmosphere almost every model oozing character, but we shall see i might not have actual army wip pictures for a short while but hope to update regulary with ideas and additions to the blog

My first squad will be my comand squad converted to resemble the ODST team in Halo:ODST..Buck will be my commander...Dutch some sort of heavy weapon trooper...Micky explosives ...Rookie will be my banner bearer...Romeo sniper...Dare will be a figure from a different company shes a spook so i can get away with a dfferent look with her.

Is this a SM or an IG army? I would love to see an all drop pod army.

Make it BA so you can use Stormravens as peilicans.

But with an ig army, he can use valkyries and I'm sure ODST armor is not strong enough for a 3+ armour save.

oh my god!!! I hate Halo with all my being (though I love the campaign stories, all the baackground, the universe, the UNSC, and of course ODST's are awesome, and it was my favourite Halo game) but I love Imperial Guard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO CONFLICTED! So my hate of Halo multiplayer... or my love of everything else................ I'm gonna go with love and sasy I'm subscribed

Yeah, Halo multiplayer is pretty bad.

This looks to be quite the interesting project

I used pig iron heads on my Elysians and they are a bit large, but look decent enough.

Looking forward to this one, thought of doing this myself but has never happend. There is a paper model of the Pelican Dropship online to print out somewhere maybe you could convert that over to plastic card just a thought.

I second The Dreadnote on that looking forward to this big time, always had a thing for the Odst. Having had a set of elysians for about two years and not touched them im finding it hard not to make them in to the finest troops the unsc can field bars spartans of coures.

On the subject of people riding tanks, why don't people model that on chimeras instead of those crappy lasgun ports?!

@ Vitruvian - Tank riders in combat have an extremely limited life expectancy, hence the weapon ports in IFVs.
