Surprisingly, I didn't find any other topics about this, so why not make one? I'm curious what the most popular model/concept is.
I added the Tyrant guard, because it might not be a unit, but it's still a creature.
I also left out the Death Leaper because it's still a lictor-like creature.
I myself vote for the Red Terror. I wish they had rules for it 
[EDIT] I added the broodlord, the sporemine and the mycetic spore.

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.
Orks are about having the toughest units on the table.
Orks are about not caring about how many bodies are left in a long winding trail until the squad is down to less than a third its starting strength.
Orks are about rolling more dice then you can count without the aid of a calculator or a pen and paper.
Orks are about having totally fething insane characters tearing gak down like Doc Grotsnik, Ghazghkull or Snikrot.
Orks are about being too fething awesome to die...

I will always have a soft spot for Old One Eye. Mostly because he was one of the first models I bought when I started playing. I doubt he shares the same affection for me though, considering I painted him about as well as a pre-schooler.

I demand you add Spore Mines to the list immediately. It is without question my favorite.
Why, you ask?
Because even though it's not a particularly competitive unit, a measly 180 points will let you fill out your Fast Attack slots with 18 of them, and dropping them in a tight circle around your enemy's deployment and watching them crap themselves when they realize what you just did is goddamn hilarious.

This poll is all about the models and the coolness factor of the model & concept. It has absolutely nothing to do with rules. The Red Terror (which i voted for) doesn't even have rules. How are Spore Mines not a cool concept!
And they're definitely cool looking models. If you're going by that, you shouldn't have the Red Terror, Tervigon, Swarmlord, Parasite of Mortrex, Tyrannofex, Doom of Malan'tai, or Ymgarl Genestealers in that poll.
By your standards Spore Mines are better than all of those, because at least Spore Mines actually have models!
Pretty cool looking models, if you ask me.
