Ok so I started out yesterday to sculpt a daemon and as I was looking in a bits box I found a cadian power fist and decided to make something to put it on . I didn't want to do anymore guardsmen so I decided on a SOB . I dint realy like the look of the proper ones so I wanted mine to be less sister act in space ! . So gave her a skull helm and then chopped down a bolter so that its more her size . Think I mite do a few more . Let ne know what you think ...

Nice idea but there's nothing that says SoB to me really (apart form the obv trim and iconography), but the GS work is OK mate. Body countours are too hard and bulky to put across the underlying female form, and the edges are too soft as is often the problem when using GS for armour. I'd recommend crisping it up wirth some knife work, and try using milliput or greystuff in the future for the mechanical/hard areas. Some of the surface detailing/trim is a little bulky and wonky too, and I think a little extra care and finishing will bring her out.

Don't take this crit the wrong way (as im sure you wont anyway), but you clearly have a talent and Im looking forward to seeing you develop it.

Looks good, but I can't even tell what it is...Nothing tells me that it's power armour...Or a woman....

Where's that bolter from, by the way?

Np. I look forward to it. Nearly forgot, greystuff is GF9's procreate. Works like GS but less stretchy and cures harder so it it takes to knife work/sanding/edging much better. It's a great middle ground putty thats usefull for pretty much everything.

Samus_aran115 - It's a bolter with the foregrip cut down it seems, and looks more like the oldskool bolters as such.

I must say I don't like the back pack. I just looks a bit higgledy piggeldy (wonky) and unfinished. But then I'm more of a person for straight lines in models and art. If that's the look you were going for (a more curved back pack) then you did well, it's just not my cup of tea =]

Not really, no. It looks more like a female Arbite to me.

I love how this is a female character that's not all idyllic and scrawny, at least on the outside, you could still pull a Samus and have a hot blonde in there. :p

Sooo after a Hr of frustration(try cutting the heads off bolt gun rounds to make tiny studs ! Lol) I've added aload more detail on her . First off I replaced the laces on her corset and replaced them with buttons. I also replaced the round axles on the ankles and knees and elbows .added a winged skull to the pouldron . And a cape and a halo to the helm .and studs to one leg . This was after timing the armour edges back to sharpen them off.

Just a short feedback from someone really likeing the original Sororitas models.
For my taste, this mini looks more like a male doped bodybuilder/quarterback than a woman. Never seen a woman with such shoulders and arms (and don't want to ).
So have fun with your project but it is not my cup of tea.

Have you seen any of the really ripped female bodybuilders? Trust me, suddenly there are very few parts that are immediatly "feminine".

That's an awesome model. The only thing I don't like is the skull helm; that's not really a sisters aesthetic. See if you could use a dominion helmet.

I gotta agree with some of the other posters that the femininity gets lost with the broadness of the shoulders and the legs, but it's still really solid GS work.

If you get some better pics I'd be interested in seeing what's going on with her head, as it's hard for me to figure out exactly what I'm looking at.

I like it, I don't think tiny skinny women running around in power armor killing things is very realistic anyways.

Its looking very SOB to me. When I saw it I thought "woo the SOB got themselves some heavy support". So I guess a bigger gun would fit the model?

As an artist, it would have been great to see thinner arms and body. Although you're doing power armour the female form still needs to hold its proper shape.

Still, I really like it (the details is getting much better IMO) and cant wait to see more. MOER!!!

Thanks for all the feedback guys . The problem with the beefyness on the arms was something I. Ran into well scripting her right ARM is the same thickness as a gw SOB . But as I wanted her to have a powerfist I made her left arm thicker and more armourd . As she Is a small model it comes across as her being stacked but her body is cut down elder guardian torso. Abyway I've put some paint on her ..

Very much liking the colors, and I think that the look is about right. Fairly broad shouldered but that is accurate to female bodybuilders and a woman going into the space marines is going to look like that. Not to mention that some of the bulkyness could be explained by the actual thickness of the armor, if a male space marine has armor that's an inch thick a woman isn't going to take anything thicker, so it makes them look similar in the armor even if they would be very different out of it.

I also like the statue of liberty crown, or is that for miss empire galactica or something? Hehee.

Also liking that color scheme, the golds/yellows and browns look very nice together.

Oops said that part twice, whatever.

I do. I love skinny women kicking xenos face and burning heretics. A square-chinned, broad shouldered, testosterone enhanced woman does not appeal to me in the least.

Fair enough, won't argue with that, though I'm rather fond of the somewhat butch rough and tumble yet still cute sort of heroine myself.
