Slackerz is a great place to play. doesnt matter if you are new or a veteran, always looking for new armies and new players to make life more interesting . The players that left are on deployment oversees . check out slackers for a fun game of a great challenge.

I assume this is the slackerz in leesville? I live in alexandria and wouldnt mind making the trip down every once in a while but its about an hour drive. Are there any days/times in particular when people typically show up looking to play 40k?

yes it is in leesville. we do have people from alexandria come down. we would love to have you come and play. what armies do you have? if you decide to come (depending who comes in) we have pretty much every army GW has to offer.

I play chaos daemons. What I meant by my question was when I was living in ruston I would go to the shop in bossier every once in a while and on wednesdays they stayed open late as a "late-night gaming" night so there were always several people who would come on wednesday to play 40k and they would usually set aside weekends for tourneys. I was asking if there was something similar at slackerz; a certain day or time when an above average number of people came by looking to play.

sorry. fri and sat while we play magic players are playing at the same time. ususally is 11am to ????. some times they will close at 6am the next morning. the tourney thing has stopped for right now due to a lot of people have moved out. we do want to start again ASAP. as far as players avg of 6-10 give or take. we do need more players.

Open invite any players willing to travel to Lake Charles. I play Guard weigh in at 1500 maybe 2250 -2500 if i ally my SOB . I have terrain and am currently building a board an maybe even beg my ole lady to make some gumbo want a gaming group met a cool space wolves player down here just only bump into him here and there. I have heard some good things about Slackerz even from other guys i have been talking to at Paper heros here in town. I might have to shoot a buddy some gas money and get up there. I need a game bad and most guys said there are more 40k players there than in town.

It would seem that fortune is bringing me to Alexandria, LA.

I also wanted to let you guys know that Littlewars in Baton Rouge has a tournament every 3rd saturday of the month. I know it is a bit of a drive, but we have guys that come up from New Orleans to play. We generally pull anywhere from 12-20 people a tournament.

Can you confirm the points? I'm interested in coming to play, but not sure I can field 2500 points in a workable army.

Can you also ask about partially assembled models? I like to paint my stuff before completely assembled, so things like my Lootas and Kans won't have arms attached.

partial models are ok. if you color coat them and list them on your army list what and who they are it is leagal for our store. it is a 2500 pt army and if you need more orks to borrow, i have some for that day. again also, if you have friends that are players in your area please bring them the invitation is open to them. any other questions please ask.
