So I haven’t seen a good consolidated list of major events on here and I think it’s something we should put up. GW technically has all their GT level events posted but in reality they don’t update nearly as often as needed for everyone out there to know what’s going on. So I’m starting this and I’ll keep it updated. I’ll try and include links to the actual event sites provided they have one. Qualifications to be in this thread are GT’s (2-day events) and 20+ Capacity RTT’s. If it’s got a star next to it I’m attending. PM me links and events or just post them below. Also please put the major city if it’s a GT. Most travelers don’t know the difference between Media and Philly or Santa Monica and LA. Attendance numbers listed are the maximum capacity of the event.

Could you add in "GT" where they are actual GTs? Are the Cons (Like WargamesCon and the other cons that happen around the country) GTs or just tournaments? I don't want to drive nine hours this year to play in what ends up being a 14 person RTT this year. Grrr.

Also worth noting would be previous year attendance / expected coming attendance if such can be determined. Very useful info there.

A GT that pulls in 70-80 people is quite a bit different than a GT pulling in 20-25.

I'm not gonna detail it to that extent homey since I'd have to work out 40k attendance, fantasy attendance, and lotr attendance. If people want to post up maximum capacity I'll add that but I'm not gonna research it on this one

Generally that info is available on the website that's posted. Assume most GT's will bring in 30-80 for 40k. With the SCGWL events moving to holiday weekends their attendance should jump a bit too.

GameCon Spokane, Washington January 15-16
2 day, 5 games 2000 points on 40k side (no idea for WHFB). This is a circuit event and is listed on GWs community website.

The store that is helping host usually draws about 30 people at their RTTs (with a wait list) at their Idaho location. Not sure if this will draw the same or more (hope its more!). I think officially on the 40k side there's 40 slots, 20 for WHFB. No details, not a TO just a local and an attendee.

Thanks, I figure something like this could really help attendance for a lot of events. Some events just pass with 0 heads up. This way people can plan out their year if they wanna hit multiple big events

Expected attendance (since some were asking earlier in the thread) is 64 for 40k and 32 for fantasy.

2011 BFS Grand tournament will once again be hosted on Columbus day weekend October 8th-9th 2011 in White Plains New York. 1/2hr north of NYC

we are anticipating 96-128 player 40k Tournament
