Sorry if this doesn't go here.

Will the rise and fall of the human empire, the Emperor is dying his influence is fading and getting closer to just the Sol system. Humans outside his influence are using skill to survive even though they still have belief in him. When will GW continue and maybe even make the humans into an Eldar type race where they are very limited and are just trying to keep the human race alive?

Who will be the new race that is the huge race like humans used to be? Who will become the new big bad? I know each race is bad to a degree, but who will be like how the chaos are?

I think the Necrons will become more substantial of an opponent, whenever the new codex comes out...and I am not saying the crons because I am a crons player either..

orks would survive, yes. But without humans they, lose a 'good' enemie.

Nids would lose their bio snacks

necrons would never arise out of their tombs, when there aren't any humans around to stumlbe upon, and disturb their tombs.

...you can go with this for every race.

Now, let's see, who would survive.......zombies!

Also it would be difficult for them to actually conquer most places in the Imperium since it is pretty far apart.
And there wouldn't be a big bad empire just lots of smaller factions no other race has the power to take enough worlds and hold them to make an empire there are some ork empires and a few chaos held systems but relativly few organised races that try to conquer things.

None shall rise.

No,wait. So many are waiting to take over, it would just end with a giant apocalyptic "royal rumble" to find out who' is the new ruler of the galaxy.
At the end, the smaller races would be extinct and the orks busy participating in any war. The necrons would rise as all this noise disturbs their slumber
and the nids would consume as much as possible until they try to swallow too much and their hyperevolution turns against them.

Chaos would pour into the material realm, combine the damage done and the lack of the stalwart IoM to hold all these threats back,
most living beeings would be screwed.

After the dust settles, only a few survivors are left and these have more important things to care for.
The Galaxy would take thousands if not millions of years to see the rise of another race to glaxy wide influence.

It would be hilarious if everything went down and humanity was wrecked again but then the Emperor just came back and had another great crusade.

That was actually one thing I was thinking was the Emperor would just reborn again into a human body. While this is a cheap way to keep those pesky smurfs in charge it also makes it so none of the other races can even rise.

If the Emperor never comes back Every single Race has too many internal problems to get anywhere.
Tau - Many factions no one true leader
Chaos - Like they have worked very long together
Necrons - too damn tired.
Orks - to busy killing things to bother rulling. I can seem them being pursuaded like in DOW games, or mercs like Kill team.
Imperial Guard - well the planets might last a day or so depending on who attacks...
Eldar - too few to do anything
Dark Eldar - Too few and too damn crazy.
Nids - hungry and reproduce, more drooling than ruling

You know what I know who will fill in the void of Power.

Squats yes thats right those short space dwarfs. They been hiding and bumping and grinding to get the population up. lol!

Daemons don't depend on humans...many grew from Eldar remember? Orks and Nids won't rule...just fight. Problem with orks is they fight amongst themselves, and problem with nids is they drain a world and move on...so neither will rule...just a hella fight then move on. Eldar and Dark Eldar too weak...they could only rule if they went into hiding for hundreds or thousands of years to regroup and repopulate. Tau? please. Necrons? Maybe only if their original leader was revived...otherwise they don't seem very interested in spreading. IG? LOL! Marines? I think that the Emporer will just be cloned, making this argument silly.

Tau don't have the means to replace the IoM although they may manage to survive the final to-do.

We started out as a small disjointed planet with no main system of government. Your point? The war on Heaven is comparable to the return of the necrons and the coming of the 'nids.

Humanity was more widespread at the point of the Eldar fall. Tau will certainly try to fill the vacuum and make significant gains. But I believe they have to wait their turn a while. (maybe the next Empire collapse )

Of course, this entire thread is both hypothetical and heretical.

My point was that the Tau simply don't have the numbers or the technology to conquer an area the sixe of the IoM they would make significant gains but wouldn't manage it methinks.

We didn't. Now we have warp drives. I'm sure the Tau will devise something similar, or else one of the many other smaller races will do it. I like the way the Draxian Hegemony sounds, personally.

The Tau will one day get upset about there short life span while the other race live in the view basically forever. This will cause them to try to extend there life span using there high tech mecha..... Wait this seem somehow familiar.

I could see Dark eldar business as usual to be honest. As long as there are beings to be captured and killed ( they even take tyranids as prizes to fight in the arenas ) they couldnt care who the status quo in the material realm is. Even profiting from such times as they play factions against one another and swoop in during uncertainty where empires are weakest to take their plunder. And if something went really wrong and life got wiped out they might be able to find a way to another galaxy. Out of all the active races they and the craftworlds are most likely to have the technology to do so. Or in the cratworlds case already can if they choose.

Are there any armies that rarely have any battles? Some of the battles usually involve humans the most, just doesn't seem like people write much about anything else.

How about someone write something of a battle between Nids and Crons. It will be light on speech but heavy on action. Kinda like the movie Solder. On second thought we will just stay clear from that book.
