Or buy the dev box and get 3-4 copy's of every heavy weapons. Also, why are you mounting a mutli-melta on an infantry model? They are not worth it.

A heavy weapon that needs to be within 6 inches to be effective? No thanks. Now a meltaGUN on the otherhand...

You will be more successful with a melta gun. But a multimelta in a rhino inst a BAD idea, I can just think of better weapons for the job. Like a lasscannon. Or a missile launcher. Or a melta gun.

If you're within 24", it's got the strength of a krak missile and AP1. That's hardly non-effective. It just gets better within 6".

What are you talking about? Multi-melta is range 24 assault 2, while meltaguns are 18 inches assault 1

Camping with a multi-melta is a good idea actually, you don't even need to camp. It's assault two.

With combat squads, you can put half the guys in a rhino and shoot that heavy weapon out of the fire point. Marines get all the fun stuff

A multimelta is heavy 1 24" melta. Thats not a good camping method. Thats asking to get assaulted. But on OP's question, only a missile launcher is in the tac box. All the other heavy weapons are in the dev box. My suggestion, buy a dev box to get tons of the heavy weapons. If you want to use multi-meltas, that's fine, but your shooting your self in the foot before you run a marathon.

Just hope they don't get looted by orks--soon you'd be fighting beautiful women painted green and deployed via Stormlass Luncha!

I'm not crazy about Multi-Meltas on non-Relentless infantry.

The things you want it for (Land Raiders, Battle Wagons) can get you from outside the 2d6 range. Lascannons, plasma cannons and Missiles are better IMHO.

Put the Multi-Meltas on walkers and speeders!
