Imagine being an space marine, and fighting almost every day of your live. Then, during a huge battle, your 2 best friends get slayed. You miss them and you wish you would have married the emperors museum gift shop girl instead of choosing this life and slaying heretics and being bald.
So, can a Space Marine have a mid-life crisis?

definatly nope, fighting men have a strong purpose in life, they want to survive and don´t question their everyday life because they are thankful of every damn minute of it...
that said we, the average, non fighting man get that crisis only because we don´t have purpose in life...if your in constant struggle for life there is no time to be musing stuff thats not relevant and cant be changed...

That sounds more like a generic maniacal evil laugh.
It is to tell the audience that the character is evil.
Just in case they didn't get that from the recent bad guy just did something jolly rotten scene.
People with a mid life crisis tend not to laugh like that.
Space Marines never laugh at all, miserable gits that they are. Not sure whether they would have a crisis or when in their extended existence it would be the equivalent of 40 something.
Given that they are taken from adolescents and brain washed to becoming superhuman I would say they don't.
Also agree with Vik, and would add that the Marinification process is something akin to the ceremonies used by some cultures where there is physical and psychological change on the 13 year old.

in these so called lesser cultures there is rather seldom found somthing akin to angst and crisis. we on the other hand no that way to good....even lil kids can get crisis and be exhausted in their young life...
what does that tell us? we struggle for a place in life, a red thread to follow and if that is found there wont be so many illlnesses in ones life, as we crave a function in life.
back to SM they even get the function wired to their brains and i doubt that there are still enough negative hormones producable to get something like selfdoubt...they are without fear and without pain, remember?

If you look at a character like Ardaric Vaanes (the Raven Guard renegade introduced in Dead Sky, Black Sun) then this is pretty much what happened to him. He never felt part of the brotherhood that binds all Astartes together and ended up running away to the Eye of Terror. It would be rare for a Space Marine to end up having some kind of full blown mid-life crisis but it is certainly possible.

Pretty sure the part of the brain that handles things like regret or... reasoning gets removed when they're turning them into freakish blobs of redundant organs, probably to make room for a third appendix, or perhaps the gland that produces the acidic venom they drool for some illconceived reason...

Aside from being cool, being able to spit acid is a) a good and very unexpected fighting ability to have in close quarters, particularly when they don't have weapons on them for some reason and b) makes them next to impossible to hold prisoner. Similar to Aliens (whose blood is acid and can be used as a weapon) but much more precise, they would be able to spit on chains and locks to get help them break free.

Not sure whether they get actually 'depressed' in a clinical sense, but they can feel down, that's for sure.
Check out Cloud-Runner in Deathwing and, of course, Lex in Space Marine.

a) They wear helmets, which notably block their mouths.
b) What is going to contain them (with all their mary sue strength and plot armor) that a few dribbles of acid drool is going to overcome?
It's a patently ridiculous thing to include, though it does fit well with such things as the "Omophagea" (which just gives the image of a squad landing on a planet, then removing their helmets and browsing on nearby foliage to get the lay of the land...). Things like that, the nauseating mary sue tone of the fluff, and the several dozen pages devoted solely to the iconography of the smurfs are why I've never managed to read the entirety of the Space Marine codex, as it leaves me gagging in disgust.
