Very impressive and characterful Death Skullz 4osen1 The bases could use a little more conformity though Excellent work, especially for someone just starting out in the hobby, well done!

In da scrap wiv da rest of da ladz!!!

As Boyz "R" Us has already said, your've caught loads of character in this group . I would keep the bases the green & brown something very orkish about them, just add a little rubble or flock.
The grot holding the Waaaaaaaaaaaaagh! banner I'm assuming you used green stuff, try using more spit or a dab of Red Bull to smooth it off a little more. The big shoota boy looks good, if I may suggest next time cut one off the feet at the ankle & have it flat on the floor, or cut both legs at the knees to really overstate the recoil.
Again as mention excellent for someone new to the hobby, BRAVO

They are very characterful and extremely orky! Uniform bases and a light wash of devlan mud or badab black will make it look a little better.

Well played sir well played, Its allways good to see another really good characterful setup. I especially like the fact that you colored the tips of the Shoota Bullets. It really reinforces Blue is Lucky

Thank you for comments and suggestions
Here is my another few orks (namely two grots and Runtherd).
The one on squig was my first expirience with greenstuff. The squig didn't appeared characterful enought. Still need to finish painting this Grot on squig (sguig skin and grot's gun).
Other one Grot have too big cyborg hand in compare with his scale... this was unsuccessful attempt of nearby Mad Dok (actually he was too drunk).

Good models! As a deathskull player, I say, kudos to you, sir! I always have a lot of white in my paint jobs to complement the blue, but you do what you want. I like the stop-sign waaagh! banner too.

Here is few my fotoz of Big Mek work in progress. I really wnat to have unique Big Mek with Kustom Force Field and here is parts I decided to use: Head from Lootas and burnas. Body from stompa boy. Maybe I will use burna gun like high-voltage peak in the back. Legs and "backpack" is parts of Mech Warrior model (this model from resin so there is no problems to cut any part you need). I also want to use red light somewhere on the back of Big Mek. But still didn't know exact location of it

Thanks Bigfish.
Speaking about expirience that I get during this works...
I am still thinking about some great convertion... and all those works help to get expirience about better painting skills and lessons about conversion. You could see some progress of my works from using green stuff.
But what I see for today is that I using glue as a first and main source. Greenstuf is only for hiding some places you need to hide. All this becouse of sculpture skills (if it possible to say like that). So you need to know good a lot of skulpture lessons to do at least normal miniatures. What I see that I still need a lot of experiments with green stuff in order to do some completely own stuff (normal one). Becouse grot that I did for the fist time (with Pole) doesn't detalized enought to be normal miniature.... nut it brings to me a lot of expirience.
Sorry for this bla bla bla... but I am really thinking about if I can make something worth from green stuf (from the every begining) and I mean scale of this miniature not higner than 28 mm.
Here is ma work in progress (it is only about conversion). Hope that soon I could show you something good from green stuf P

P.S. sorry for ma English.

I like the way you paint and convert!

Can I suggest spending more time on your bases? Colours for bases- I would stay away from colours which you have used for skin tones, try a colour which offers some contrast.

Sanding your bases would be a good idea too.

Like what your doing.

Wow your really progressing with your army 4osen1, and your modeling and painting skills have improved dramatically since I first saw this thread, great work
The paint job on this guy is awesome! Still need to work on those bases though.
