if this is the wrong section please let me know, never posted on this before, anyway. I just wanted to post something about Dicebucket.com, it is a internet retailer that sells mainly Games Workshop products at a large discount, they are some of the largest discounts i could find out there. It is a very new retailer that hasn't had much said about anywhere, so many people are on the fence if they find out about it. I first saw it through a BOLS add on the side bar and saw the prices and could not argue, but through my best attempts could not find anyone saying that it was a reliable place to buy from . I made a "leap of faith" and bought over 300 dollars in Space wolves, and a week later it arrived all there in fine condition in shrink wrap, saving me over 60 dollars in cost . Since then i have ordered twice more and spent over $700 total saving over 120 dollars! speaks for itself, and i highly recommend it. The only gripes that i could muster was the shipping, i don't know if im doing something wrong but i cant track with the given number, so i don't have precise following, but it always gets across the country in 4-5 days for me. The other thing would be is it takes 2-3 days for them to process and ship, i have ordered GW direct and Dicebucket at the same time, and GW usually arrives 1-3 days earlier. You can chose either in your choice, but in the end it falls to time versus money, if you want a very fast delivery or buy at a store thats fine, but if you are looking for discounted war gaming this is the perfect place. I wrote this as a reference for people looking into the site and i hope it can help people in their war gaming decisions.

Had a funny (not bad) experience with Dicebucket. I asked if they took Paypal, to which they replied "no". I then bought the items I wanted from an EBAY auction, and when the package got there, it said "Dicebucket.com, NC".
Apparently their EBAY branch accepts Paypal, and Dicebucket.com does not. Whatever. Still the cheapest stuff around. Thumbs up but silly.

How are their shipping costs? No calculator as far as I could see, and it looks like it only would tell you after you have gone through checkout.

It seems like they offer a 20% discount, for a discount like that I'll stick with people that I know or have been around for awhile, i.e. The Warstore or Battlefront.
Also, they have a shoping cart, GW does not like that...

well actually they have the 35% under sprue's and bitz pack, which you get the 35%, so you can get a space marine taciacl squad for 24 dollars as long as you don't mind it minus a box, and even imperial guard squads are 16 dollars, i mean normally you'll want to order large to get best deal due to shipping,
and i have read about the shopping cart thing, why don't they like it? never found out exactly why, only they were one of the few who does it

I enjoy hearing about new online discount retailers but why do some of them try and promote this way? The OP is obviously not just some random person who happened upon Dicebucket and loves it so much that he wanted to spread the word everywhere.
In the future please just come on and tell us about what you are promoting and save the story for another day.

actually i did just stumble on it, i understand it might be a little preachy and kinda "but wait theres more!" speech , but i just made this with no influence, i made it because it really annoyed me that there is almost nothing online at all saying if the store was reputable and reliable, and i would have loved to find someone saying it was, so i am sorry if it seemed to promotional, i just love the deals, since im am to young to work any money i can save is invaluable

Not that impressed.
Twenty percent is the online standard. I could list a few other sites that do that.
Miniaturemarket.com does 25% off of online GW orders and if you're in the US and order over a certain amount ($75, IIRC), shipping is free. They're a well established online site with a very prosperous storefront in the St. Louis area (and they offer 20% off GW in-store).

For those who feel they aren't that great of a deal compared to warstore or miniature market, I suggest you check out the "Sprue & Bits Packs" section of the website. They breakdown battleforces and other box sets and sell the parts at a significant markdown of the individual sets. Good deals to be found there for sure. Also, I've heard it said that since they sell items without the boxes it counts as second hand selling and that is the loophole they use to get away with an online shopping cart. They also have a decent presence on dakka through members that have ties to dicebucket. Sucks that obsolete is having trouble though. Not much I can say about that.

I've used them for a decent sized order (got a $90 dropped to $60 from a 30% off deal) as my first and only order, so far. I was quite happy, and I was kept up to date with what I bought. I will buy from them again, as long as they keep doing the good job they've done for me so far.

Quite a libelous statement there. Thieves? A little dramatic, I think. A bad sounding experience, to be sure, but there's a few contradicting opinions/experiences in this thread. If you're unhappy with your experience, fine, let us all know. It's very helpful to those of us with no history with them. But the unfounded editorial opinions aren't very informative.

Their shipping policy is a subcategory in the About Us section. Their shipping costs are based on the total cost of the order up to $70 (I believe) where it is then free. I've seen this at a fair few online games sites. GW does this too. I am amused by this. ...FEAR NOT! Elastic injection molded sprues are resistant to stresses. Unless Godzilla himself sits on your package, your toys will be safe from both the perils of the warp and the postman...
as I don't work for the post office.
That being said the best standard discounts I've seen are on MiniatureMarket.com at 25% and free shipping after $90 in purchases.

I believe their standard shipping is $6.95, until you hit that mark for free shipping-I didn't realize there was free shipping after a certain point, but I was told it was a flat charge of $6.95 before.

I don't blame them. Paypal is not preferred by many sellers due to all the restrictions and fines. They probably only accept PP on eBay because they have to.

I just ordered 75$ worth about a month ago, It arrived fast but missing one sprue, I emailed them and had no reply for about 4 days. 5th day I got two emails telling me that they are on it and 3 days later my missing sprue arrived.
I would use them again. Free shipping over 70$ is what did it for me, plus i got two of my three items from the sprue section for added savings.
Edit- It does have paypal listed on the website as a payment option-

I have used them 3 or 4 times but all before they started just shipping sprues. I always got what I ordered in good fashion, however the boxes were always smashed because they shipped in cheap padded envelopes and it always left me feeling less than 100% satisfied. Particularly when miniature market and the war store always ship professionally and the items are well cared for in transit.
I probably wouldn't go for dicebucket again but I wouldn't rule them out if I really needed some of their sprue set sales, which are very good values.

I have never had a bad experience with them.
DO NOT FEAR THE SHOPPING CART ON THE WEBSITE. Dicebucket ships the sprues without the box, so it technically qualifies as "used". This is their way of exploiting a loophole in GW's embargo on US online retailers.

I'm not exactly certain how expensive Dicebucket's shipping is to Canada. I kinda remember it being about three times as much as US shipping, but don't quote me on that.
I'm a stone's throw away from the border and go down to Washington whenever I need to buy gas, so I just use a US mailing address instead.

I just bought a Necron battleforce from Dicebucket. Things went just fine. It was literally a battleforce that arrived, because the warrior sprues weren't cut in half (like they are in the Warrior box) and all of the 30mm bases came in a single package. I ordered on 3/21, it shipped 3/24, and it arrived 3/28. My account got billed on the 24th. I was kinda hoping that there was a problem somewhere along the line, because you don't really know what a company is like until you have a problem. Paypal was an option at check-out. 20% off MSRP Free shipping to the US if over $70.
