For whatever reason, the legislative bodies/benevolent dictatorships of the world have banned whatever army you currently use for whatever game you currently play from being used or sold, what army is now contraband and what army are you switching to?

Say they do the same for whatever game you currently play, what game system (if any) becomes your main game now?

Say they do it for the entire wargaming hobby, how do you fill your free time?

I relocate to a different country WITH my stuff, where the politicians aren't such dicks. Should this prove to be an impossibility (finding such a polly), then I'm still relocating AWAY from the first country.
I have a Dutch passport, and dual citizenship.
So visas and so on aren't really an issue.

If my IG were somehow outlawed, I'd keep playing them at home, where the feds couldn't find me. 420 play IG every day.

If 40k as a whole got banned, aside from the above option, I'd turn to Battletech, or some sci-fi game where I could use the majority of my miniatures.

If wargaming as a whole got banned, I'd probably have an aneurysm since the hobby aspect is pretty much the only way I relax. I'd probably animate for fun again, I guess. That or just play more videogames.

Move back to Indonesia, there is nothing legal in indonesia, as long as the horribly incompetent cop doesn't catch you

Goverment in Indonesia tries to ban international movies and Porn for god sake, they are still both viewable in the country

If Eldar got banned... I'd go to Dark Eldar for my non-meq needs!

If 40k got banned i'd prob play necromunda and inquisitor... or write my own game system than was 90% 40k

If the Gov banned the hobby - that would be great! All the stupid kids will think it's cool all of a sudden, cuz only cool kids break the law.

If CSM were outlawed I'd probbly go eldar since I like the look of the models.

If 40k/WHFB were banned I'd probbly play flames of war

If the hobby was banned then I'd a) have a lot more money and b) probbly read a book....one not by the black library.

If necrons were banned, who would be able to tell the difference anyway, support wise..

If gaming was banned...well I still have my guns, would probably get back into scale armor modeling, and maybe modding and racing cars again too.

I'd just ignore the law, it would be like Fahrenheit 451 but with models.

Move out of the country. If my government is more worried about banning a table top game, than trying to figure how to fix/repair/put duct tape on our many issues, then the writing is on the wall and it is time to leave before things get really ridiculous.

Is it just the army I mainly use or all my armies, the former I will die because I can't use GK, the latter I'll turn to Thousand Sons or Tomb Kings, whilst fighting the grief of the loss of GK.

For any others I'd just sit on CoD and Gran Turismo all day.

I'd lead an army of bloodthirsty Khornate followers to 10 Downing Street, firstly masquerading as a peaceful protest before starting the slaughter that will no doubt get me killed but will also please the Blood God so that I might ascend to daemonhood and return some day to wreak terror upon the world! <insert evil laugh here>

If IG were made illegal, I'd dig up and refurbish my BA and Eldar.

If 40k were illegal, I'd play Fantasy; easy enough.

If the hobby were illegal, I'd run a wargaming speak-easy out of my basement.

They can have my Boyz when they pry them from my cold, dead hands.

Take away the DA and I switch to Black Templars rules. Or just build up my IG or Tau.
Take away 40k, I play it with friends anyway. Possibly switch to fantasy.
Take away painting figures and I lose a creative outlet and things get bottled up. Early claim for temporary insanity when the bottle bursts.

I dunno I own three armies. If all three got banned, I'd go either eldar or SM.
If 40k got banned, infinity has been looking really good lately.

I'd start a 40k underworld crime syndicate!

I would probably switch to historical gaming or go back to WOW...I would be a sad pananda to see my Crimson Fists go.

If wargamming were to be banished there would be painting, scale aircraft modelling, life in general all the stuff I will get back to doing as soon as the thousands of little plastic models are finished.
