Surprised there wasnt a thread up yet, so I thought I'd make one.

Frankly I am so pumped for this game its not funny. It really is looking amazing, and while a ton of MMOs fall on their faces these days, I reckon this one is going to be a real big hit.
I want to run a trooper first, then maybe a Sith warrior.

Anyone else thinking of playing? If so what class, what are you looking forward to?

I like that they hired over a 1000 voice actors so that every line of text is spoken.

Now I have never played a MMO before, but I just might play this one.

Looking rather tried and tested for me Im afraid, nothing particularly new or ground breaking, nothing that makes it stand out bar the SW universe and some voice acting which I couldnt care less about.

GW2 for me is looking much more appealing at this stage.

I like the look of it... Imperial Agent methinks...

The videos I've seen have quite underwhelmed me. I certainly hope it turns out better than what my opinion of it is.

I hope it turns out good, as most MMO's turn out to fall flat.

After playing galaxies for 5 years, star wars would be nice to play again.

I want to like it...but I usually hate MMORPGs. We'll see, and if they offer a trial run, I'll certainly give it a go-if I love it, it'll be the first MMORPG I've ever bought!

Well I was going to play a Trooper but now I don't know, what with Dakka going to the Dark Side it seems...

Trooper does look tempting, if was that way inclined i would play one but Imerial Agent is evil and cool so it wins.

Yeah, I was considering trooper just for the ability to rifle butt my enemies in the face... but I endured playing an inquisitor for 6 years on EQ2 and I might finally get to play an inquisitor that wasn't ball-achingly poor to play.


Plus I like playing the bad guys, especially on a RP server.

Smacking people in the face with a rifle butt is always a good point in a class...

I already have this pre-ordered cant wait to play as a Mandolorian bounty hunter.

And remember how EA fixed that? Order gaining Renown and Experience at higher rates started to somewhat help things balance out.

I'd be surprised if we didn't see that from BioWare, what with it being an EA company and all.

The Destruction guilds were strangely well organised from what i remember...

Bounty hunter and Sith Warrior

It will be a challenge for me since I've always played the goodest of the good in the previous kotor games.


I may cave and play a Jedi if they seem under represented.

I never got used to being good in RPGs...

I will be good. Either Trooper or Jedi. Of course things could change.

Ill be a bounty hunter first. And I forgot the name of the class but the one where they duel wield blasters. Total badasses. I WAS going to be a smuggler at first because of duel wield....but then they came out with the bounty hunter as well. That sold me

I wonder if they are going to have a scout class like what was in Galaxies. I remember hitting level 50 and getting that stun attack which pretty much stopped any jedi character.

They are. It's the Smuggler for the Republic, Operative for the Sith Empire.

Bounty Hunter is the mirror to the Republic's Trooper.

Sweet. If they get that stun attack I will be all over that class. I remember getting it in galaxies and no one saw it coming. Heck I didn't even know I was getting it till I had it.

Jedi will easily be the most played class.

Luckily there are 4 variations, much like there are 4 variations on Sith. Combined I would say the Sith and Jedi will make up the vast majority of the game. I'm not sure Jedi will be the most played though as I see more people wanting to play Sith (evil is good baby, down with government!) and dual wield their little girly red lightsabers.
