Heresy are having a sale to shift some stock before repackaging or shift to resin (Not quite sure). There's some great models on offer, including all the Big Boris models, and the awesome Halfling adventurers ( My favourite is Norko). Go see:

Great stuff.

I picked up a couple of sale items and some full price models too.

The new one is very similar, just a different selection of weapon options, I think.

We've known about them. Unfortunately, the full gang is way more expensive than even buying the models at eBay prices, and the individual models are not on sale.

I really like the pitfighter Deathball Ogre, but at over $22 for the sale price, I'm gonna have to pass. Too bad, it would make a great Goliath ogryn bodyguard and/or Bull Gorg conversion. GW prices look reasonable compared to this, though.

You can never beat your first time. The second generation is shinier, stronger, faster and superior in every regard save one, and it's an unfair criticism to level, but it simply can't be as original. - Andy Chambers, on the evolution of Games Workshop games

My guess would be that's not been released yet, then.

Ordered a few bits and pieces, including Dr Masterson - I've got the other Nerdlord, so left that one alone.

Got the Deathball Ref Boris for use as a ref when playing Blood Bowl, though.

They are news to me, and quite nice...but holy feth...aprox $100 (US)!!!! I think I paid like $40 for my GW delaque gang on ebay, and it was new/unassembled w an extra heavy.

Ive gotta say, if it wasnt for the terrible exchange rate Id order a lot more stuff from England...but that 50%-60% bump in price just makes me walk away most times.

Which is a shame really. I've got most of them, I just haven't got the most recent batch. If those were on sale, no question.

I picked up the trenchcoat gang awhile back, although I ended up trading them. They looked Good...

Just steer clear of that dragon, which is still (hopefully/almost?) about to start being finally casted / shipped to people who have been waiting for a few years now...

Last I heard the dragon is almost on its second test fitting. With a bit of luck we might be able to get our hands on it this year. Maybe.

"Maybe" is right . Still, I'm not trying to derail this thread, but I do think it's worth mentioning. I had really fast turnaround time on the trenchcoat gangers being sent... and he even re-sent them after they got lost in the mail the first time. So, probably worth paying for the better shipping option, but they're really great models, imho!

In Andy's defence, ancientsociety, he only put the sets of gangers up he did because they were left over as a bundle from the last big show he did. The others are still available for sale, under the Sci-Fi section.

Just because the guy is having a sale, doesn't mean he has to put his newest releases on sale.

It's always the same thing, isn't it? People are all shocked at GW prices, then you show them that other companies are asking the same sort of prices and they're aghast.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Somewhere in south-central England.

The GW Delaque gang costs £23.50 for eight models with no options.

The Heresy gang costs £65 and contains 15 models with weapon options.

The Heresy gang is arguably a lot more dynamic and finely cast, and has more variety of weapons.

People can make their own decision as to which they prefer.
