Haha there is nothing to be sorry about.
I am just curious to see what people think. Personally not interested in the space smurfs.

Sicarius is the current 2nd captain. Some one had to come before him.

As an Ultramarine player, I can safely put my fingers in my ears and say this about the movie: "LALALALALA DIDN'T HAPPEN LALALALALA!"

Wait does Titus occupy the same position as Sicarius?

No.
EDIT: Or do you mean that they're both 2nd Company Captains?

Yes (I was asking if they were both 2nd Co. Captains).

Well thats dumb. Wonder if it was an oversight on Relic's part, or if it was done intentionally...

My money is that he dies at the end of the game and is replaced by Sicarius...thus allowing it to be canon.

They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

Captain Titus is from the new Space Marine game, yes?

If so, then I'd be fine if he came before Sicarius. I'm sure they'll work it out somehow.

Maybe he'll come to kill people that endlessly spam the forum without consulting any readily available material.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Same feeling here. GW is under no obligation to pay any consideration to what some licensed product claims.

They may still surprise us - after all, sometimes they do adopt things they like (such as the Last Chancers characters) - but I wouldn't bet any money on it.

I believe it is said somewhere that the game takes place in a seperate timeline (kinda like how the tamurkhan book is set in a different timeline) which would allow them to have a different 2nd company captain, and may also be able to explain the new vengeance grenade launcher. other than this everything else seems to be pretty grimdark, so all is good =)

XBOX 360 fanboy: So does Satan. Thor and Odin own 360s though.
Jesus promises the end of evil, Thor promised the end of Ice Giants.

Hmm, that'd be in line with what George Mann said about such products being "alternative worlds" (though he was referring to all BL novels there) ...

I very much agree on the grimdarkness and all being good, though. Granted, I wish that it wouldn't all be Space Marines all the time, but the game just looks too awesome for me to pass on, and each preview video just increases that feeling.

its probably set prior to Sicarius becoming captain.

just like the Ultramarines movie is set before Sicarius, or possably after Sicarius.

my personal theory is that the movie is set after Sicarius's death, or promotion to either chapter master or first captain(meaning either Agemmen or Calgar is dead)

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Is Invictus already dead?

Yes Invictus is dead. He died during the Battle for Maccragge, when the entire 1st company was wiped out. He was the precussor to Aggeman.

I reckon Titus might go missing, make whether he is alive or dead a mystery to us, and encourage us to think of a possible outcome like with Garviel Loken

Does Relic give any indication whereabouts in the 41st Millennium their games are set?

I just noticed that .. when Sicarius and Titus are both Captains of the Ultramarines 2nd Company, what happened to Agaman?

Man, the 2nd Company really has a high rate of attrition it seems.

He's captain of the 1st now I believe, promoted after Macragge and Sicarius took over.

I'm betting capt. Tightass will be the new Special Character for the next edition's Space Marine codex.

Special Rules:

Movie Marine - Grants a 1+ Invulnerable save

Find Random Hand-cannons That The Orks Missed Somehow- Titus has any gun in the codex that you choose to use, invisibly stored on his body. He picked it up somewhere

Yeah, 3 known Captains in 10000 years... it's like they're just throwing them away...
