Well I have been told by a friend of mine to get off my backside and start posting things here on Dakka. So I've finally decided to give it a go. This will be a collection of the several projects that I am currently working to greater or lesser degrees. Currently I am modelling and painting my pre-heresy 1k sons/custodes army, but as my ADHD grabs me I will also be working other half or semi completed projects. First off will be some pics of various projects I'm currently messing with. I'll do my best to post regular updates of all current work.

my mephiston, I've got a finished pic, this was an earlier wip, I added cork for a rocky base and touched up the painting. I'll get one up once I get home.

Here is some pics of my 2x2 segment for my trenchwarfare board. It's set so that it is exactly six inches to assault into the trench, it is designed to allow no line of sight over twelve inches in the trench.

We decided at the store to do an apoc game, and since I had no super heavies at the time I decided to make one. I ran across this gi joe tank for five bucks in a pawn store, so I snatched it up, chopped it up, and added some plastic.

not quite done, but I started to lose my mental image of what I was working towards so I hit it with some primer to help me see it better.

Not happy with the barrel, but it is the start, I have since decided to swap out the burlap and do the camo netting with some gause, and to drape over the side platings as well. Will hit some pics of this as well. I was going with Blood Angels for it, but now may convert it to be part of my Pre-Heresy force.

Thanks, I never thought of that but I love Omega Red. I'm a big fan of weapon x, and the whole covert story arc with him in it.

Thanks, I know the first pic was a bad angle, and from my cell phone. I'm trying right now to re-take a bunch of pics of my stuff with my wife's camera. I wanted something a little more savage (my blood angels are flirting close to the thirst) and a little different from others I've seen out there.

As soon as I can work this camera right I will throw up here my wip on my Pre-Heresy 1ks. I've got five built and almost completely painted, just waiting on fine details and basing. Also have a contemptor in the progress of being built. A couple of scibor models to put together for them. I've got five custodes built, just need to green stuff some gaps and then I can start painting them.

Anyway, more works to come.....

I like your trench section - good use of the wire mesh - not seen that done before for barbed wire - will have to look into it in the future (making your own actual barbed wire takes forever and is a right pain in the parts).

Silver- Yeah I got lazy, used aluminum drain filter screens. I played around with a few different ideas, you are right proper looking barbed wire takes a bit. Plus I wanted a more fenced in C-wire feel. Still not happy though, they are set to be pull away sections so I can swap them out for something better once I come up with it.

SUCCESS........... ok enough of patting myself on the back for something my five year old probably could have figured out in a tenth of the time. on to more pics.

These guys are basecoated and given a couple of washes, still have to do highlights, details, and some touch up

They are currently blue-tac'd onto bases so i can get games in with them as well. I've got a bunch of Scibor temple faces for the actual bases

tho i have to say they remind me strongly in their likenesses to the Adeptus Custodes ....well i think it is mainly the scheme...but that isn´t something too bad then i think^^

Yeah, there are GW bits, Maxmini, Scibor and MicroArt Studios Bits. Funny you mentioned Custodes..........









This army will be prior to the Edict of Nikea, based off the concept of when the Emperor wanted oversight on a mission he detached a squad of Custodes to supervise.
