What i am seriousky considering is some sort of hover effect presented through the lmaginative use of very strong magnets and fishing line. the more i look at the model and feel its overall weight the.less i think this is possible.

it will probably not happen but wouldnt it be cool?

sure it would be cool... though i would thing small rare earth magnets wouldn´t do here... you would need a strng electronic magnet for that...

Mx- we need to talk, hopefully I will be in the shop this weekend, I want to slope/angle the wings and the front end for a more bird of prey look. I'll draw it out for you. oh yeah, and we need to see if we can get Brother Paen to do up a techmarine with a sandwich maker

This is my WIP/PIP Belial for my Deathwing. At this stage he is definetely more PIP



I have added drednought shinguards for should pads, shaved the hell out of the head to make it fit, added some oversized shinguards I had laying around, added a cloak which I had to break and then green stuff a gap of fur and face to make fit, and added a Iron Halo



I am trying something with the foil, playing with it as a basing material, we'll see how it ends up working out once I put some paint on it.



I have begun the process of slowly applying layers, still have a ways to go painting wise, but I'll get there some day. And as usual I apologize for the pics, I am still using my phone because my wife can't find her camera charger. I'm going to have to bite the bullet soon and just buy a new one.

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how the shoulder and shin pads bulk him out, and the cloak gives him some depth. Bigger is better

cool looking model...this is truly beefy as can be...foil as basing material...will be interesting how this turns out...

A little bit of progress, everytime I go to paint or build I end up playing a game instead. Oh well, made myself stay home and do some work. Here are some pics for now, more to come.

Ironically,I'm most satisfied with how the face on the base came out. Though I hate the grass and sand. I think it's time for me to invest in some different basing materials.
