@ Smolo: I wanna try out exactly what I'm capable of
@ Spidey: SketchUp was used to make the model, I used Photoshop for some post-processing!

The shroud over the assault cannon is too square, make it 5 total planes (vertical, 45 degree, horizontal, 45 degree, vertical). Also make the assault mines a bit taller (deeper?) they look a bit flat.

get it 3d printed, not so you can pull one over games workshop

but you build that from scratch, now have some one print it. It would be really cool to actually have a physical copy of it!

I advise against the 3D printing; with the current technology for private copies it'll come out with a horrible lined texture that just won't do your model justice.

Bravo by the way.

Thanks for all the positive comments

Not sure about the printing tho, gonna give that some thought. For now, here's a little update:

aWesome, what program was used? I am using Google Sketch up to create Buildings and models for my Cryengine 3 adventures so it would be nice to see what other, (better) programs are put there.

That's staggering. At first I thought it was a hand made drawing, but then I realized you applied some sort of PS filter.

Looking forward to seeing it finished!

If you can acquire a copy of Autodesk Revit you could make micro-millimeter perfect copies of any tank, provided you have the drawing skills.

More positive reviews, awesome!

About coloring the model, it has crossed my mind. Problem is I need to make it realistic, or else it'll look like a simple plastic model

About Revit, It'll take me quite some time to master it, so maybe later

+1

If you edit your first post, you can change your title as often as you want. That is what I do for my P&M Blog. You can make it something generic like "My 3D Model Project" and then update it to what you are working on "Bolters on pg. 2 (date)". Makes it easy to follow one thread and know when you are working on something new.

Maybe it'll be easier if I put all the pictures in this topic? It'll save some time I recon
