So I'm sure some of us will be hard pressed to decide on a single song as their favorite, but why not try?

I have quite a few songs that I consider great(700 alone in my top rated on iTunes), but very few that I consider the best. If I had to choose just one song to listen to, it would be this:

As a drummer, that song is epic. There isn't a single thing about it that I don't enjoy.

So what is your absolute favorite song?

Kind of hard, because if I really like something, sometimes I end up listening to it too much - then it drops in the rankings. This is the one that came to mind after a bit of thinking.

No, what are you talking about? (FIXED!)

I wish there was more celtic sounding metal like Last of the Wilds though. It sounds so fething epic.

Mine is actually a ballad album/song: the first Ludo album, entitled "Broken Bride", is broken up into 5 parts to tell a single story of a guy whose wife dies in a tragic car accident and he attempts to travel back in time to save her, going to prehistoric times by accident. He then travels ahead in time, helps fight against a legion of undead for a noble king, meets a dragon and finally gets sent home to a couple minutes before his wife gets into the car. I leave the end a mystery. Highly recommend it. It's quite possibly the best thing I've ever listened to. If you haven't listened to it, here is each part to the album:

Full album/story/song, hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.

edit-tried to put the actual videos in, first four showed up, last didn't work, tried to fix it and they all disappeared, but code was still in. So just click the links I guess if you're interested.

The cadence of the Strongbad music doesn't fit the song, and the meter on it is terrible. Perhaps it's me being a perfectionist musician. As a drummer, errors in meter and conflicts of cadence are like nails on a chalkboard.

I dont think I could pick one, If I had to pick one to take to a desert Island with me though, Id probably pick Jesus of Suburbia by Greenday because I like the band and I have since I was a kid, and it kinda sounds like 3 or 4 different songs in one, so I get to cheat and take 4.

Smart eh?
