Today I was inspired by this piece of art...

I'm not sure what it was but that corrupted Sister of Battle was strangely captivating; attractive yet repulsive at the same time. (Don't question my sanity!)
As a result I have started thinking about the possibility of somehow converting corrupted Sisters of Battle to use in my army, using Aerozopher's picture as a guide.

I'm thinking about filing down and greenstuffing the legs and arms of Eldar Guardians and slightly convert the torsos and heads of the Dark Eldar Wyches to use as the base model. Then I am going to sculpt on zombie-ish details and lastly use the backpacks and weapons from a Space Marine kit.

(What I had in mind for the legs)

(How space marine arms, bolters and backpacks look on Wyches)

What do you guys think?

Edit: I would just like to make it clear that none of these pictures are mine, I am using them to show what I'm thinking about doing.

Looking cool. I like the Wyches with space marine bits, I think you're on to something with that. I'll be very interested to see how you go with this.

I've got plans to do a corrupted Sisters army of my own when I've finished some of my other projects. Although I'm planning to model mine around Miriael Sabathiel and her warband.

I think the wych legs are a bit too dynamic for this, but that's my personal taste, I think Kabalite Warrior legs would be more ideal in terms of the end result, although I could understand it might be less practical for cost.

I'd also wonder if Scout arms might be a little bit better suited, but overall the current arms work better with the bodies than I thought they would.

thats a great picture, i'd really like to see what comes out of it. I was working on some corrupted sisters of khorne but the project is currently on hold. I wanted a cleaner look that still said chaos and khorne but i'd love to do something from this pic as well.

Thanks for the replies guys. I would just like to make it clear that none of these pictures are mine, I am using them to show what I'm thinking about doing.

My plan is to convert the Eldar Guardian legs like the pic in the original post. The bodies will be the Wych torsos but with any gaps filled in so the breastplate looks more like smooth power-armour. The arms will be the space marine arms as well as the weapons. As for the heads, I will using the wych heads but change the hair so it doesn't look like butch caveman hair.

Maybe give it a look with guardian arms as well.

Yeah, and if the guardian arms don't work, then I'll use Space Marine arms.

Have you thought about using daemonette or dryad bits? These might come in handy especially for mutations.

This picture is ment to be a slaanesh noise marine and not a sister but the corsage-idea with the daemonette body might work for you too.

I think the fusion of Space Marine and Wych bits is a good idea. I think it looks pretty decent.

I owned a CSM army once named The Sisters of Slaanesh.

I used the original battle sisters and the House Esher gangers as Cultists http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat490066a&prodId=prod1120109
This went as far as sculpting boobs on the terminators

I am actually thinking about using Daemonette parts with Wyches; somebody from my local gaming club has done some fantastic conversions for his Daemon army.

I have used a few daemonette bits on wyches as slaanesh cultists and it works quite well.

Nice, I might have a go at that. Any idea of how I could model bolters on them? I don't want to use space marine arms as they are too big.
Also have you got any pictures?

More pictures required fo a full judgement but so far this seems to be the right side of sanity. The concept is crazy, but it will make for a truly individual army which I think is really important.

I have a wip picture of them. But as the daemonette bits where just some random ones i had mixed into a bits-shop order i need a full box of daemonettes to finish the rest.(And to get some more variation.) But they look promising. I also cut up some bold pistols for use as MP's and used the regular wyches pistol grip arms as attachment. But i think regular bolters would require some mad arm reposing or otherwise fitting arms.

They look awesome! What arms/weapons are you using for them?

Thanks.

The left one has a weapon and arms from wargames factory's greatcoat troopers i had lying around. They come with a lot of them so i have many spare guns like that.

The other ones are all basic wych arms.(Not counting the daemonette one) I just cut the DE pistol away and attached my own guns. Both guns once were marine bolt pistols that i cut up a little and flattened to remove a little bit of their bulk. The weapon on the right is entirely scratchbuild. (as is the hand holding it). I also plan on buying some weapons from hasslefree for my other ones.

Maybe those zombie vixen could be used for arms and heads? They might look good on nurgle sisters. and 30 figs for this price is nice. And they come with an even larger amount of heads and arms. But they might be a little bit to slimsy as they seem to be more realistically propotioned.

This saddens me :( I thought the whole purpose of a female army is that they were nigh unto incorruptible!

As to the models, GREAT job! I cant wait to see them painted. you have given me some really great inspiration as to how to make some plastic SOB...I HATE metals with a red hot fiery passion!

Very nice conversion. A+ on the models...hate to see those lovely ladies serving the Dark Gods though
