I don't know about taking the assassin formation. You just have so many points sunk into units that do not do very much per game.

Raptors are my chapter. It is great to see someone else playing with them

Love that list Reece. In a non forge world environment is there anything you can trade issodon and the sicaran for that are roughly equivalent?

Yeah, Raptors are a blast! I am really enjoying them.

The Assassin formation is actually quite good. They usually die, but, they cause massive disruption. The Culexus is amazing, too, just incredible.

Instead of the Sicaran I would go with a Stormtalon and instead of Lias, I was using a Chapter Master on a bike to jam up and present another MSU, high priority threat..

Would you switch out the raptors CT's for sentinels of terra in a non FW list? Or something else?

First off great lists on both sides it's great to see something different than the usual. Second I think if Jason would have taken out the Culexus at the bottom of turn 3 with the Stormtalons instead of shooting at the Vindicare and Centurions I think he would of had a higher chance at winning that game. The Culexus shutting down Invisibility was the back breaker. Thanks very much for the report I enjoyed it.

Is the d6+3 wounds at the beginning of the game a raptors thing or an assassin thing?

Awesome batrep and two awesome lists. That Assassin Formation is devastating but for some who plays GK, it is too much of a point sink for an army that is already expensive. Which is why I also run DraigoCenturion Deathstar.

How much is shipping on a terrain set that large?

I agree, I think that was the better play, but, hitting on 6's was a turn off for Jason, he didn't want to lose their shooting.

I agree, that Formation is expensive, but, it is really fun to play, too. I enjoy it a lot.

I just want the stupid Eversor to make it into combat 1 time! lol

It depends on where you live, but, one that big will have to ship in at least 2 boxes, maybe three. Shipping would probably be around $40 to $50.

Gate is awesome and wonderful...until it doesn't go off and it costs you the game.

Yeah, precisely. Then the Culexus walked up, turned off Invis, blew away Draigo, and then my Cents smoked the unit. 4 KP swing, erases his Deathstar, and that is a wrap, folks.

How did the Cullexus kill Draigo ?

Draigo must have failed a bunch of saves, only way.

Yeah, every game I have had Draigo in, he has just been a tanking beast. My Centurions go untouched.

I really like the GK/IH list. The Centurians were Grav Cannon/Hurricane Bolters?

I put like, 9 wound son the unit with the Culexus and Draigo biffed his saves. Went down like a punk.

The ol Raw Dogger has actually been on a hot streak! He has been winning a lot of games lately with his Draigo CenStar, only struggling with Tyranids.

That just tells you how nasty the centstar is. It is to this edition what the seer council was to 6th.

Yes, it's a top-tier army capable of winning tournaments if you surround it with the proper support units.

Loth is not absolutely necessary. You can always take Tigurius, who is just as good as Loth, if not even better due to his buffs and the Ultramarines Chapter Tactics. However, with Tigurius, you only have a 75% of getting the power that you want. With Loth, you have a 100% (of getting Invisibility).

I think its really good too. Super blasty and very hard to kill.

Probably - Reecius is a huge advocate for the resin crack.

Who doesn't like resin crack?

If I ever find a tournament that allows the Harridon I would buy it. I will probably buy it any way but that is my excuse for not buying.
