@Nightwrench

We do allow the FW characters! They're good fun.

We only allow FW army lists that have been updated for 7th ed, which at present isn't many of them. However, FW said they are updating them and that that should be done this year, which means a lot of them should be good to go for LVO.

Wow, you are allowing Renegades and heretics at the lvo? That is going to be awesome.

Sounds good. I have an itch to build a Tyrants Legion army. I know it will be meh competitive wise but should be good fun.

That game put my faith in Khorne to the test. My table-neighbor looked at the match up and said "Here you're going to need these more than I will" and handed me a bag of Jello shots. They must have pleased Khorne because I walked out 11-2.

Now looking at another list with MORE tyrants and MORE mawlocks, I said to myself. "Oh well looks like it's time for another beer. It'll take the sting out of this. LOL"

Yeah, we like using FW army lists and units, they're fun! We just need to be sure the rules function in the current edition, so we're sticking to just 7th ed updated lists.

Come on Reece you know you want to rewrite the eldar corsairs list so that it functions in your current event...

Armoured Battlegroup from Imperial Armour 1 Second Edition is also pretty safe. I have not seen any problems just prices are different than AM codex.

The Elysian Drop Troops list from Imperial Armour 3 second edition also seems to work well with the only exceptions being that allied valks where when taken individually they count toward the 1st turn drop but when taken in a formation that comes in together they do not (I asked forgeworld, it is confusing). Again the prices are different than the AM codex but that is okay.

FW said they are going to update the lists, hopefully before end of the year.

I love the FW lists so yeah, I want to see them played, but, we try to keep things easy for the players.
