So I have been busy building up my Skaven force and will soon have 6500 points. Its probably the end of buying until the rumoured end times Skaven release (plastic vermin lord aaaa yes please)

Anyways I was wondering how many models you have left to paint in your current army? Whether it be fantasy, 40k, hordes or whatever system you play the most as a main game/army.

For me (once my order comes in) it will be around 430ish models to paint for my Skaven. I do have some painted I swear haha 510ish models in the entire army is so many to paint tho so its a sloooooooow process lol

I suppose Orks are still my main army for now, and I actually got most of mine painted! Probably only 10-15 left to finish.

I can't even imagine facing down 430 unpainted models. It would be a combination of excitement and terror. Can't even imagine it.

I voted 11/50, but its kinda necessary to know that my army is currently about 50 models total.

I've got over 4000 points of Nurgle Daemons (40k). Still got to paint:
- 3 Blight Drones
- Decimator
- Daemon Prince
- Herald

On the bench now is:
- GUO
- 47 Plaguebearers all in one go (idiot)

I got 99 problems and TYRANIDS ARE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

21 termagants, 28 hormagaunts, two old school biovores and a metal pyrovore as a counts as biovore (prime? He does lead the brood) one exocrine, one malanthrope (these two still need to be stripped), 4 dakkafexes, 3 Warriors, 3 Flyrants and assorted spore mines and genestealers.

On the bright side, I've finished 3 termagants

I have many hundreds of models. GW cases filled to capacity, big boxes full of models, tons of stuff NIB still, untold numbers. LOL.

Just coming back to the hobby seriously and i have an entire SM drop pod army to paint, not looking forward to the drop pods

My current plan is to get as much of the infantry painted as possible, as it bulks up the painting, it looks like I have a lot more done.

Of what I have...about 40 zombies, just under 20 skellies, a necromancer (Needs a repaint, hate how he looks), a cairn wraith and three vargheists.

And that's not even the finished army XD

Well, considering that my army consists of a Fire Warrior and a Pathfinder team, quite a lot.
All I really have left that I have ordered is a Devilfish, and I since I can't seem to create a smooth surface on larger areas, I'm holding off.

My main army that I have been working on and off for the past 4 or so Years are a Demon Army that I can field in both 40K and WFB. I have 433 painted and 87 left to paint.

Next big Army Projects would be IG or now called Astra Militarum. I have a few factions of the IG that are Tallarns, Elysians, Kasrkins and Renegades. I am almost done painting the Tallarns, have 284 painted and 29 left to paint. Have a bunch of the Kasrkins painted, 45 painted and 38 left to paint. Have a bunch of Elysians with some paint and a bunch of Renegades primed, in total have over 400+ models still to paint.

Tau I have 249 models painted and 10 left to paint, mainly Tau vehicles.
Chaos Space Marine I have 104 models painted and 53 models left to paint.
Have a ton of Space Marines and Ork to paint.

In WFB my main Army are Dwarves, of which I have 380 painted and 131 models left to paint.
Beast of Chaos I have 162 models painted, and over 100+ left to paint.
Also have a ton of Warriors of Chaos, Dogs of War, Bretonnians, and High Elves to paint.


Currently working on the Tallarns, GK/Inquisition/Adepta Sororitas, Demons, and Tau that fills up my workbench. My interest changes each week as to what Army I want to work on.

Still a lot of models to paint.

<10 since I infinity only needs about 10 models in your army. Also I'm a very slow painter. I can't imagine painting a full warhammer army D:

Well with 10 models then its okay to slowly paint!

A fully painted warhammer fantasy army at table top standard is such a nice thing to see. All ranked up perfectly. It might take me 2 years to get there tho haha

I guess I would call 40k Orks my "main army," since they represent the most prevalent force in my painted collection, thus far. That puts me in the 51-100 category, I would imagine, as I'm sure I have at least two squads of boys still on the sprue. Actually, I may have another few assembled squads in the figure case, which would likely bump me up over the 100 mark.

I don't really do an army in the sense of building for gaming, but I do have a particular paint scheme and style that I go for. I've got around 100 models left to paint if I were to clean out all my boxes and not order any new kits until finished.

1 Carnifex is painted however (to the old colour scheme!)

Seeing lots of Tyranids here, for good reason...

I've got over 200 to do up - around 140 gaunts, 20 Gargoyles, a Flyrant, probably 20 ripper bases, 3 Venomthropes, 2 hive guard(which I am delaying on account of metal and pinning), 2 Carnifexes, a Pyrovore, Tervigon, Tyrannofex, 2 Mawlocs, the swarmlord, and a number of other ones that I cant recall...

Many of them need stripping, first. Going to need a lot of super clean.

I just recently finished collecting and assembling all the models for a 1000 points Ultramarines army, in total there are 34 minis needing to be painted.

So far, nothing is finished, but some are partially painted and everything is at least primed. I started collecting them around January I'd say. After temporarily drifting out of 40K for a few months I picked up a couple of models a few weeks back, threw them together, and wrapped up the rest of the army.

I've been surprisingly motivated to get them all painted though. Normally when I start collecting an army or working on a new project I'll sort of just pluck away at a small squad for a little while and never really finish them. I believe this is mostly because I would only partially assemble my models for easier painting ( leave bolters and backpacks off, etc. ) But with my Ultramarines I decided to just build the models in entirety ( with some exceptions for things like tanks and drop pods. ) So I think seeing everyone fully assembled has given me more drive to actually start doing some serious production line painting. My main plan is to get everyone basecoated in blue, and once the models are no longer just flat black and primed, I'll start focusing on individual squads. So that way if I feel like playing with them, they can at least be blue - it's a start!

I put 11-50. Gotta finish painting two Land Raiders and a squad of 5 DW Knights. Figure 1 LR = 5-10 Tac Marines

Out of about 3k points of space marines i just need to finish painting:

we arent speaking of the other armies...

About 20 VC skeletons, 10 ghouls, two necromancers, 5 hexwraiths and a Vampire. Oh, and the entire skaven half of the island of blood set. As for tyranids.... about 25 gants, 25 gaunts, a Tyrant, a Zoanthrope, a Venomthrope and 2 or 3 warriors.
