What'd you get for Christmas, guys?

I got a wooden carry case (just a wooden chest that is surprisingly light and gorgeous), Super Dungeon Explore and a group of Kolony Ferals.

Best non-wargaming present? A 9 pack of different craft beers.

PSC 15mm Tigers from yoof, not exactly a surprise as he asked me what I wanted from the PSC site. He got a 500pt Bolt Action starter, rulebook and dice.

Naturally everything I got myself since ohh about June was an 'early christmas pressie', in the same way everything up until about next June will be a 'late christmas pressie'...

Two Basilisks for my Emperor's Wrath Artillery Company and a Venerable Dreadnought for my Raptors.

Oh yeah. I got a $50 Amazon gift card which I converted into two Rebel Aces sets(MOAR B-WINGS!) and a HWK-290.

I got some cash ($150) that I'm going to use to put towards the Space Marine Battle Demi-Company to basically complete my Raptors the way I would like.

I got Pathfinder Inner Sea Races and Advanced Race Guide from my brother a month before Christmas since he is a truck driver, but as far as the day goes I got a tiger blanket, a dragon water fountain that doesn't work, dollar store headphones since my mother took the wireless Bluetooth headphones (knock off Beats) my brother was also giving to me. and a dollar store alarm clock.

Since I couldn't sell anything in my trade thread I couldn't get any 'gifts' to myself as it were. So...moving along.

It's hard to explain to family and SOs what you want. So I just bought a bunch of stuff on ebay the past two months and used Christmas money to "reimburse" myself. Whatever works.

Got some money with a funny card written about it being "40k bucks", but it will probably go to my wedding . . .

Sad 40k day. Repent gift givers, for tomorrow my amazon cart shall be purchased!

Amazingly, I spent almost nothing on wargaming this month, and received no wargaming gifts at all.

A little bit by design, and a little by GW's release schedule: there weren't any 40k releases this month (was the BA Chaplain December? That's like, the last model I remember getting, and then some time this month there was a BA decal sheet), so it's not like there was anything new to buy other than WD magazines. I asked all of my friends and family to donate to their local food banks instead of purchasing presents for me, so I actually didn't get any physical gifts at all. And then... I bought myself a car, so I placed great restraint on accumulating models that I won't get around to painting

However, boxing day is tomorrow. I will probably buy SOMETHING at the hobby shop! If there's a super duper deal, maybe I'll stock up on some paints (I don't need any), and pick up a kit or two that's on super discount.

I haven't gotten anything wargaming-related for christmas, but I am expecting money or something from my folks that I will likely spend on 40k stuff. I might also gift some plastic crack to myself. Maybe its time to get two more Ravenwing flyers so I can make a full Ravenwing army.
