How many Space Marine players have used the Impulsor, and how well did it do for you? How did you equip it? What did you transport with it? Was it "worth it"?

I own one, assembled and painted. I've put it in a list at the beginning of the design process several times, it has yet to actually make it to the table.

I’m pretty tempted, but am still holding out for a tracked transport and already spent this month’s hobby budget on Chaos epic stuff.
They seem like an absolute necessity for a Primaris list imo, although a simple transport that costs as much as a land raider still seems wrong to me.

I have one.
It's magnetized for all the options, obviously, though the times I tried it for tournaments, I used the shield dome.
It has many uses (which is what makes it a good model). Just blocking charges with the -2 (-4 if you part it next to a forest or crater) is great. Similarly, sticking in 6 Eliminators to get them into position for the good shots turn 1 is useful. Or simply bumping enemy units so they cannot shoot.
Corona put a stop on most of that, but I'm definitely interested in trying a list with a few more.

Have 0, kinda want one, but am waiting to see if they make another kit like a rhino/razorback, or the different repulsors. Or it gets included in a bundle.
Seems a bit pricy $ wise to get a unit of Hellblasters downfield,

Currently zero.
In fact, I only own 2 Primaris model: 1 Hellblaster (sitting here blue-tacked atop my monitor), & 1 Redemptor dread.
In the future? Probably several. But it's nowhere near a priority.

I have 3 but I have never used more than 2 in a game. For collectors value I think they are worth it because they look pretty sweet escorting repuslors and executioners on display. Game wise they are pretty great as far as transports go - but this doesn't really make them good enough to play with on the regular. The lack of ability to transport agressors really hurts their viability. Why bring 6 intercessors and an impulsor when you could just bring 10 incrusors? You'd think that it would be good for putting hellblasters into place but then at that point why wouldn't you just take plasma inceptors? Or bring your hell blasters and put them next to an ancient instead?
It's main issues are -
#1 The roll it fills is not a job that is needed.
#2 Can't take invo save and gun upgrades at the same time.

I own three impulsors. I have fielded them several times and had good success with them. If you want to actually use them as a transport the shield dome is pretty much required because other wise I found they just die way to fast. They are decent gun platform as well. One issue I have is they are dedicated transports and therefore don't help fill out detachments. That can be an issue if you are trying to go brigade for instance.
I have found them to be useful in some cases but I ended up dropping them from my lists. With RG I already have enough tricks for getting my units where they need to go.

I've just got one and haven't the chance to use it. the Impulsor though strikes me as something best taken in groups, 2 or 3 in an army allow you to push forward a pretty solid strike force. 3 squads of intercessors at close range, with character support strike me as pretty nice to have. for real funies take 3 5 man squads of primaris space wolves, and toss rangar and a rune priest in with them

I have one, but I haven't fielded it yet.
My Primaris army is mostly Phobos armor so I don't lack for things that don't have Infiltrate/Deep Strike already. At least not what can be carried in an Impulsor anyways. When I do get around to fielding it I plan on using the Invul shield dome as I already don't have a lot of vehicles to give my opponent a better target with their anti-tank weapons.
I agree with BrianDavion. I think Impulsors are probably more worthwhile fielding 2 or 3 to ensure your opponent can't neutralize all of them to quickly as well as bring enough units forward to support each other or hit multiple spots in an opponent's line.

IF I was inclined to build a primaris mechanized list I'd go with 3+ impulsors backed by a repulsor (executioner or regular) to provide a heavy fire platform to back my light transports up I think

Zero.
I kind of like the idea of one, but they're pretty expensive and there's a lot of stuff I want to get before them.
Also, at this point in time, I don't actually own anything for one to carry, since all the Primaris units I do own don't need it/can't use it and it would be a waste of money to buy it and points to deploy it.

There's certainly little point to use transports for Intercessors when you can just stand at 30" and just Rapid Fire all day.

IMHO Primaris Marines need a useful close combat unit. heck If I was in charge of doing a 9th edition Marine codex, I'd make most phobos units gain an extra inch of movement, in the hopes it might finally give reivers a niche.

I was about to buy three when lockdown started. I've run them a few times on tabletop simulator games of 40k and, with the shield dome, they are an A+ unit for WS or SW. They're a great great match for Khan/Ragnar lists, and really help assault-doctrine armies to be more viable. They make your intercessors far more viable, especially if you're spending points/cp on making them deadly. The great problem being for such armies, of course a) surviving until turn 3 and b) getting to where you can do damage. Well Impulsors solve both problems. They tank shots like nobody's business, they fly and so cover distance very well, they tie up in CC, absorb overwatch and help with dakka on T2. They can't be locked in CC, and so can't be circled like rhinos. they're bigger than rhinos too, making it hard to encircle them in the first place. The fact they can't take aggressors is neither here nor there for SW/WS, as both can (and probably often will) flank with their fat boys. Finally, their repulsor field makes them -2 to charge, so they can cause havoc with your opponent, should you come across an army you want to keep at arm's reach for a turn. They are a top top unit when using an assault SM army, or maybe DA at a pinch, and I don't really know why everyone on this thread is being so sniffy about them. Automatically Appended Next Post: (Just so there's some context for why they're so good for, eg Whit Scars: 5 veteran intercessors in assault doctrine with a chaplain, banner & khan in support range can expect, if they pop honour the chapter, to one-bang a knight in CC with just their fists, with 25.67 expected damage.)

Zero here. I've tried making lists with them, but, similar to other posters, they never make it to the final. Too expensive, and the way I (and a lot of people) play Intercessors, they don't feel overly necessary. My Intercessors are pretty stationary. Squads of 5 to sit on things and shoot all day. For clearing objectives farther downfield, I have plenty of units that can forward deploy, or deep-strike, which makes the Impulsors that much more redundant. The way my army runs, why buy an impulsor to get my MSU squad of Intercessors downfield on an objective when I can have an Inceptor squad drop down and bullet-hose the thing, or use a forward-deployed squad of Eliminators to shoot the opponent off the objective while my Infiltrators wait to claim it, or run a Warsuit or two at it, etc etc. IMO, for me, the Impulsor is a unit you buy when you want your Intercessors to do something that other units in my army already do, and do it MUCH better.
That said, if you are playing an army that's mostly Intercessors (I've seen a few that were probably somewhere between 60-70% Intercessors with a few big support units and little else), they're probably necessary. In a more balanced force, I haven't been able to find a use for them.
EDIT: For better context, my marines are Ultras.

Turnabout; if I could put regular marines in an impulsor, I’d probably have bought one. Lots of classic stuff would get good milage from move-disembark-shoot in 8th.
