Now, saying one has zero Impulsors is sort of a null comment,

But the thread title specifically asks me how many I have. My answer of (currently) zero is simply the answer to the question asked....

I take the lack of compatibility between Primaris and Firstborn vehicles as a combination buy the new models (which I am guilty of) and future proofing for players like me who started a Space Marine army almost entirely out of Primaris marines. I certainly wouldn't like the idea of having a bunch of Land Raiders, Rhinos and/or Stormravens to find out they become an issue down the road for one reason or another. So better to nip that in the bud. I still bought a Stormraven as I figured it would be a good number of years before their was a Primaris flyer, and a I wanted the option of a sort of heavy gunship.

Of course they (GW) could've simply allowed non-primaris marines to ride in the thing....
Problem(?) completely avoided. You Primaris only guys would buy it (assuming you found it useful) & those of us with old marines could get full use out of it. Alas....

I am also fortunate that I play with largely reasonable people that would allow me to transport Primaris in my Stormraven.

Likewise on playing with the reasonable people. I'm sure within my circle we'd have no problem allowing old marines to ride in primaris vehicles.

Assault Hellblasters seem to be a pretty good use of an impulsor with shield dome.

That's about the only way I would use one.

Oh if I could mount my old marine DA HQ unit in one I definitely would.
Would that be the most effective use of it? Hell no. But I think it's a cool looking model & it'd make a nice ride upgrade for a squad that's been serving me well 20+ years.
But as they can't even get in the damned thing (because "reasons") then they'll keep on using their trusty old Las/Plas Razorback (as long as it's in the rules) & I'll keep putting that $75 towards something else (maybe GW, but maybe not)....

None so far. I quite like the model but it's expensive money wise and it just doesn't do much that I can't get anywhere else. Most units have the range or the ability to get close.
