Absolutely not their fault.

Every FLGS that drops GW for any of the other games is a good FLGS. On the long run they will make more money and we can finally leave that BS GW behind.

Age of Sigmar is not expensive, in fact it is free... Since I assume you're talking about the rules as being "faulty" and not the miniatures.

The same FLGS manager I quoted above also stated that they've sold 63 copies of Dark Vengeance in two years, so AoS is going to overtake it shortly.
Warhammer Fantasy was almost a non-seller.

I like those Bloodbound. At least the Slaughterpriest doesn't look as over the top as most other Khorne models. Shame about the price as always with character models.

That's pretty crazy. GWs next financial report should be VERY interesting.

Aye, it's actually quite nice to have a Khorne devotee that's not so ridiculously broad-shouldered.

I'm still waiting for a baby-griff box set, and a box of chaosy hounds that matches the one in the starter. I'd buy those for a dollar (or 50?).

i've been to about half a dozen LGS in Montreal, and il all of them, AOS wasn't selling well. At the very best, they were selling a few of the core boxes, but almost none of the rest. I'm pretty sure that this guy situation is an exceptions (tbh. I kind of doubt that what's he's saying is true. Selling almost more AoS boxset in 2months than dark vengeance boxset in 2 years, in a store which didn't have a srong whfb fan base, seems dubious at best)

I really like those. The Slaughter priest is nicely different from what you would expect, the Skull grinder is a bit more typical but still looks pretty good.

Can you ask him why WFB was a non-seller for him?

Was he particularly negative about it? Or was the player base mostly competitive/tournament types?

Why is AoS selling so much better than WFB for him?

It's your anectodal evidence against his anectodal evidence, none of it really tells us anything. That's why it will be so interesting to get actual numbers from GW.

I think he's wearing a spine chained to his back, it looks like a pelvis at the top.

Those new Khorne guys are awesome! I am gonna have to get my friends to try this game so I can buy these chaos lovelies!

"Because the Wolves kill cleanly, and we do not. They also kill quickly, and we have never done that, either. They fight, they win, and they stalk back to their ships with their tails held high. If they were ever ordered to destroy another Legion, they would do it by hurling warrior against warrior, seeking to grind their enemies down with the admirable delusions of the 'noble savage'. If we were ever ordered to assault another Legion, we would virus bomb their recruitment worlds; slaughter their serfs and slaves; poison their gene-seed repositories and spend the next dozen decades watching them die slow, humiliating deaths. Night after night, raid after raid, we'd overwhelm stragglers from their fleets and bleach their skulls to hang from our armour, until none remained. But that isn't the quick execution the Emperor needs, is it? The Wolves go for the throat. We go for the eyes. Then the tongue. Then the hands. Then the feet. Then we skin the crippled remains, and offer it up as an example to any still bearing witness. The Wolves were warriors before they became soldiers. We were murderers first, last, and always!" —Jago Sevatarion

After googling some images of spines, I think you are right. I'm trying to translate the french below the picture. Something about his huge body shows the effects of chaos mutations?

On the perfumed wind

My best translation, which is, not great-

Blood priest
Can dispel like a wizard.
Can pray. +1 if he killed a model. Works on a 4+, on a 1 he takes D3 wounds.
Prayer 1: Hotblooded- I *think* this says pick a unit 16" away, more than 3" from your units. That unit must move and run at the nearest one of your units.
Prayer 2: Boiling blood- D6 mortal wounds on a unit within 16".

Skull grinder

All Khorne mortals in 6" gain 1 to Bravery.

Not sure about the other ability, but it's something like:

If Skullgrinder kills a monster or hero, all your units within 8" are anointed in blood for the rest of the battle. Those units have some effect that on a 4 up turns 1 wound into 2? I don't know what le jet is, which clouds the issue, but my best guess would be that to-wound rolls of 4+ cause double damage? Anyone help me out here?

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

fur the priest, the ennemy unit must run toward your closest unit (not move and run)

for the soul grinder it's to hit roll of 4+ turns into 2 to wounds roll instead of 1

the rest is spot on
