Well that was neat. I went over to see what was going on and one of the $50 pleges was opened up, so I grabbed it

That would severely complicate my pledge amount.

I'm not so sure. I bet it will reach the temple, but it will be interesting to see if it has the same last day spike a lot of other Kickstarters have. I think that spike is often driven by the crazy amount of "free add ons" and this one doesn't have that. I think you'll see a spike once the temple is reached because I'm sure there are people who aren't interested in the scrap yard, city or fields boards, but would love to have the temple boards. I personally am only interested in the trench board so unless that is reached I'm not going in.

It's going to be a very interesting finish actually. I think you will have the last minute pledgers as usual but I am also predicting many dropping out if they don't think they will reach their desired tile set in time. I am thinking there will be lots of ups and downs for sure!

This is the one thing that concerns me but I think Rolling Fields is safe now Ruined Temple could go either way and I'm sure there's money in for Trench sets that won't get funded so some of that will drop out if the backer in question doesn't want one of the other sets.

Well, the only set not likely to get funded (imo) is the trenches. It's a shame, but people knew that one was a long shot! I'm just in for a display board for Ruined Temple so I'm feeling pretty darn good

Yep, if there had been an amazing trench board early on, that would have cemented my pledge, but the one I'd be most likely to pick up is the fields one, which I decided was simple enough that I could make something decent on my own if I really wanted a table.

There is also the Desert Board, but I think the Fields could be easily desertified with the right paint and flock (same for Arctic or Mars, etc)

I think at this point I'm going to be getting a 4x4 table and display board. If we unlock the full Ruined Temple, it'll be that for the main board and then the rolling fields as the display board... if not, it'll be the opposite.

Our original plan for the "Ruined Temple" Display Board had been to include the 1/4 round amphitheater -- but I figured this would make the board too busy, and really limit the usable space. But since so many folks asked to see it with the amphitheater I had the artist do another mock-up for you.

Of course no discussion of the tiles would be complete without being able to see both board options - so here you go!

Just passed $240k Ruined Temple display board is in.

General consensus is this is the best layout for the display board.

Wouldn't you put the ampitheatre corner piece in one of the actual corners if you wanted it to succeed?

Facing inward, I mean. - rotate the one shown 90 degrees left. Add a flyer behind it to utilise the dead space behind the wall, and use the steps to display characters or jump infantry.

Its not the most pleasing way of putting that tile, but its not like its locked into that position.. its just art to easily show the piece.

Glad that the display board is funded, now to the full tileset, and beyond.

At this point with only ~43 hours left it doesn't seem likely it'll reach it but, I'm gonna get really bummed out if we get within 10 or 15 grand of the trench board.

I understand that. I'm suggesting that unfortunately, a significant number of people may not be able to visualise it as I'd suggested, which in turn can hurt the "voting" on that option.

Sweet, I was logged off but this is definitely the best of the options shown for the display board thus far! As Azazel says, just need to rotate that amphitheater 90 degrees (mine will likely be in the "back" corner when displaying the board).

Love it! And it's unlocked! Woot

Wow. A trench display board is really REALLY tempting. I'm just not sure whether i need one. What could i use 4 trench tiles for?

it depends on whether they have a "rise" built into their non-trench ends or not.
