I'm actually kind of tempted to get some of those rifles for Orks, as weird as that sounds. I wasn't super crazy about the minis as a whole, but after looking at them again and seeing the non flak vest torsos, the line as a whole is really growing on me. The kit and heads in particular look like they'll make some awesome bits for models I have planned down the road.
No idea if I'll be able to opt in on the Roll Call before it ends though. I'm about to make a big move and it'll all depend on what things sell before I move and when.

Awesome! Is there a place where we can view a list of potential unlocks? I'm seriously hoping there's some kind of M60 looking gun or possibly a bazooka somewhere in the works..
There aren't too many this time, I packed a lot more options into the initial set. I'll reveal a few good extras this week that should make some people happy

That's insane.. however, is there any chance of convincing you to do the barrel shroud a little closer to the MR-16? This is really shaping up to be a great set of releases Steve!

I have to admit, I was kind of hoping for a straight up M60 so I could just use these guys for Vietnam rules too, but these are pretty cool in their own right. Makes a nice addition to the range, that's for sure

I'm right there with ya.. These don't look terrible but I'm definitely more excited about something closer to an actual m60 in shape..

That's cool with me. I'm waiting for some stuff to sell otherwise I would have already put a preorder in and I was going to get the sci fi version anyways since it looks cool in it's own right.

Sounds good. I'm wondering how this thing works - will you be continuing to add more options for these guys as more pre-orders are added? (so other sets of heads, weapons, etc?) Also wondering if there'll be an option for additional special weapons so these can be more easily used as Stormtroopers/Command Squads/etc? Or heavy weapons? Obviously they're set up so we can use kneeling legs and make out own crew to serve a light anti-tank weapon, etc, but there's scope to include a shoulder-mounted LAW/RPG even if you're not going the whole hog with light artillery pieces - and including shoulder-mounted LAWs/etc as options would bump up the perceived value of the kits rather massively for hopefully not much more resin/work. Especially if you could get three at a time, if you see what I mean.
Spoiler:
Don't need to use GW-style pricing for what is essentially just another infantry model with different armament. There's a fair difference between these two, even though GW decided to charge the same for the former as they did the latter.
Hope this project goes for a couple more weeks at least. All my spendy-toy-money from my next pay got committed elsewhere a week or two ago, and I'm keen for a couple of squads towards a Platoon of DaNamian Predators.
YES! The DaNamian Jungle Fighters are fully funded and will be off to printing much sooner than anticipated. A big "Thank You" to everyone That means pre-orders may get shipped out sooner than expected...a very good thing indeed! Wave 2 of pre-orders are now available and will ship out on or around May 15th.
Look for another "special" torso to unlock when we hit 25 pre-orders.
@Azazelx: The Roll Call will go until March 31st. There will be a few surprises every time we hit an additional 5 pre-orders. For instance, the FREE MR-60 torso when we hit 20. When we hit 5 pre-orders into the 2nd Wave, there will be a new torso unlocked. When we get 10 pre-orders sold from the 2nd Wave, there might be a special set of heads, maybe another torso. What will these things be? I'll reveal them as the become available.
