First an assassin WIP from Cadwallon:

Next some amazing White Star commandos for AT-43.  I think it's safe to call these studio paint jobs   I can definetly see myself buying the unpainted versions of these bad boys!

And finally a great new model from the elite unit being released soon for my precious Mid-Nor army:

I like the commando sculpts, except for the guns. They don't really sell the rotating barrel, gatling, mini, whatever gun that I think it is they're going for.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

y'know this is another sign GW is not putting out enough stuff and letting others fill in the gap.  If they'd made forgeworld's estonian drop troops widely available they would have sold like hot cakes.  But instead they confined them to the FW overpriced ghetto and now Rackham is making a better product.

'Estonian' drop troops, KK?

Can Captain Borat and the Kazak Death Korps be far behind?

I agree with you there Kyoto.

You snooze, you loose. But no matter what, the consumers are the real winners here for we are getting a plethora of models to use for our games, no matter who makes them.

I wonder if they will have anything like the Death Korp in the future? If they do then I hope they would make the riders.

Why, haven't you seen the previews of FW's amazing riders?

28 or 30 mm (ish). I'm not sure though since Rackham's stuff is known to be on the large side. I just spent half an hour searching through the Rackham AT-43 forums but couldn't find an answer for you.

So, you actually play Confrontation? (Or Ragnarok or whatever other game they have? (You said -your- Mid-Nor army))

I was very interested in collecting an army, but its been hard to decipher the rules and because of that, our FLGS just won't give it love.

Those are 30 mm bases.  There is an interesting scale comparisons on Duncan Idaho's website, albiet in German.  The power armour is 40 mm bases, the Fire Toad is 60, and the big Therian Walker is on a 80 mm base.  It's worth noting that these largest units are 3 out of 5 size bars.  There are allegedly much larger units planned.   The main rule book will also have rules for tanks as I understand it.

Yeah... I sort of play. I still don't have an opponent but I've got a few different armies and have all the rule books. I jsut need to find an opponent. Don't feel like visiting New Brunswick do ya?

Since it is unlikely I will ever visit New Brunswick, I feel confident in agreeing to a game whenever I might make around there. I'll look you up!

very sweet models.....and cheaper than forgeworld most likely.

Hope more old fools come to their senses and start giving you their money instead of those Union Jack Blood suckers...
