What's the trick to playing DKoK?

On the TT? Artillery carriages, Thudd guns in elite slots, Earthshakers and Medusa in the heavy ones, use Engies for cheap troops and a not too expensive HQ.

In this? Numbers instead of names, no pity, no emotions, Kriegsmen use third person to refer to themselves, they're quite inhuman, close to Necron warriors. Its a bit boring to play as a role, but I had fun when I rped my DKOK Grenadier

Interesting, just curious.

So, I'm putting off the chunk I've been struggling with, and am working on a different one. Hopefully, this one will be easier. I'll go back to the first chunk later, once I've got a better grasp on how I want it done. That way, we still gave progress, and it is (hopefully) a better quality, because ut won't be so rushed. It'll probably go through a decent bit of editing as well.

Take your time BJ, we're in no rush.

Attention: Campaign Ad

I have been working on a unique type of campaign for the last few months and have it finally completed.

It is not a Crusade and does not apply to either the Charadon or Crion Crusades. It has no set timeline so it can be either before or after.
This is a campaign similar to 'Path to Glory' in the sense that you start off with 4 Units (1 HQ, 2 Troops, and another unit of your choice of slot [Hq/Troop/Elite/Etc.])

The very simplified and summarized background of this campaign is as follows:
-A world, Thardega, is a somewhat peaceful haven close-ish to the Damocles Gulf
-This world is attacked by the Tau
-Then a small Tyranid fleet shows up into the system.
-After a ton of warfare and what not, the planet undergoes immense natural disasters such as earth quakes, volcanic eruptions, and tectonic plate shifting.

The setting of this campaign is somewhat post-apocalyptic where writers will have the chance to get more in depth with their factions.
Since you're working with armies on a much smaller scale, you have the ability to really show what it's like to be the mook on the front lines.

I am not in anyway attempting to draw attention away from or deflate the current crusade that is going on.

If you are interested in participating send me a PM so I know, and please, be willing to write for both campaigns. If you don't feel like you can write for both then do not embark on this campaign.

Kharne's been discussing it with me for a while, so it would be something like this.

Say I did DE, my (initial) force might be something like this.

HQ:
Archon- Shadowfield, Huskblade etc....

Troops:
10 Kabalite Warriors w/2 Blasters, Raider

10 Wyches, Shardnet and Impaler, Raider

Fast Attack:
6 Reaver Jetbikes- Heat Lance and Cluster Caltrops.

I can post things like:

-Background
-Mechanics
-Actions

Etcetera

I'm fairly certain that was what he intended. He just decided to post what he was doing here, since we already have a bunch of RP'ers here.

You'll only need an OOC thread if it generates as much chatter as the CoF. So far, it hasn't generated any.
