i painted this guy back in '01...he was on display at g.w. amsterdam along with a load of my other minis for a few years...
this dude really saw the comicbook/traditional tattoo paintin' style i use come together...no blending, just simple crisp layers, and attention to detail...the alpha legion shoulder pad is the coolest thing on salamanders...makes 'em look way meaner...

Looks very nice. You've done a great job keeping to the darker green colour scheme. The areas that need improvement are the colouration of the flames (it would be nice to see some blending or at least some intermediary colours- but youv'e done a better job maintaining consistency with the artwork flames then I ever did on my 'manders) and the shoulder pad. There is no reason why a Salamander would be wearing an Alpha Legion shoulderpad. Resist the urge to use this pad on Salamanders people! It's just wrong

the yellow in the flames is just a straight couple coats of bad moon yellow over a white base...
