Ok, in a game I played the other day I came across two things that I was unsure about.

1st, can you tank shock through multiple units in one movement?

2nd, A farseer uses his psychic power and rolls snake eyes.  If use my psychic hood and shut him down, does he still suffer a perils of the warp test?

On a psychic test, it's like the psyker reached for the power; on a Perils of the Warp, it's like, instead of power, he grabbed some daemon's shlong. The daemon, taking this as a come-on, screws with the psyker's head... literally. Similarly to getting into a fight to impress a girl, the fight happens whether you succeed or not.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
