I'm guessing parts away from the sun brown first, followed by
anything on the edges, but I'm not really sure as I never really
paid attention. Any ideas?

I could have went for the Turning Leaf cheap wine angle, but seeings as Malfred starts quoting William Burroughs when he has vinagrette on his salad, that would be a no-go. Or I could have went for the Byrds song, but Malfred thinks that Pete Seeger is that guy that does the song from Risky Business, so that wouldn't work. I also thought about doing a Flowers for Algernon joke, but my co-writers figured that would be too esoteric.
