Not sure what comes in termies and you already have the multi melta arms from AOBR.

I think my first initial thoughts went something like this:

Hi Asmodeus... Mate, have I got bad news for you...

Not only do I have all this 40K stuff AND the time to spend with it... but also have the money to continue in this insane fantastic way... AND...

MY girlfiend / partner truly IS awsome in that she understands my affliction, pampers my insanity, and really really understands my addiction and compulsion to continue and expand this project...

She also encourages me to utilise extra space in the house... My stuff is set up in the basement and she suggested that I set up my "Factory" in the lounge room...

On top of ALL that... she is a FANTASTIC cook and awesome provider... she is always topping up my drinks and bringing me snacks... and wait... there IS more...

She also does fantastic things that little plastic soldiers can't... What an amazing life!

oblivion, i prefer to paint things in bulk, it will take me weeks to paint a tac squad as ill just put it off.
if i have 4-5 tac squads they will be done in under a week.

Hi all, I was asked about the AOBR Ork Waagh that I had...

2x bands of 60 Boyz each and 1x band of 80 Boyz, 30 Defcopters, a Warboss and bodyguard of Nobz













And of course all the Bosses look the same... for now

I don't envy you at all with the amount of painting that needs to be done.

Other Than that I'm pretty sure your collection takes the cake, the whole damn thing.

Your AOBR orks make a pretty impressive army in their own right! And if you ever need more cash to increase your marine army (a ludicrous idea, but then you don't seem to need much encouragement...), eBaying your orks will give large piles of money for more tanks!

I would paint the tanks before moving on myself just to get something completed

I'd go with the painting myself, so that you have some portion of the humungaloid army painted. But, you did originally say that all assembly was coming first....

Yep, paint it is... undercoat - spray on, looking at base coat spray on, possibly wash spray on, touch up fine details... looking at the GW spray gun

All new, this painting thing - last thing I painted was Epic Marines.

Well, if the last thing you painted was epic, just think of your current force as being the same. The scale is the same, even if the scale isn't the same!
