If you're starting Slaaneshi daemons, there's some good threads in the Painting & Modeling and Dakka P&M Blogs you could search for on the subject.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Are you starting Slaanesh daemons?

I actually might do so myself, seeing as how my friend plays Eldar.....

Also, if you're looking into Orks I may have a cheap mob of Boyz for sale.

Slaaneshi Deamons seems to be getting very very popular.

I am slowly working on a Slaanesh Deamon army myself, since with the most recent Chaos Codex, I have more usable models for a deamon army than a Emperor's Children force.

Yeah, I'm aiming to start Slaanesh daemons, yet I have to save up some money first.

I might just end up mooching off my bf's paint though, to paint the first few models I get.

I think Orks are cool, but I don't know if they're really for me. I guess I'm not an Ork type of girl. But you can talk to my bf regarding Ork stuff - he plays Orks. Well not plays, but he will play Orks once his army is done.

Visualizing this thread is both disturbing and hilarious.

that being said GO SLAANESH! I played against slaanesh daemons once and it was an awesome game. admittedly it was awesome because my FWs held off a greater demon in CC for like, 3 or 4 turns and my stealth suits PILLAGED a squad of daemonettes (ending with some CC), but hey it's always awesomesauce when Tau do well in CC.

Slaanesh Deamonettes are pretty weak. I'm sorry but for once the answer to a super bad dude/dudette is lasgun fire instead of boltguns.

Even gretchin stand a chance against these chicks.

However what IS cool is the Masque's (Slaanesh HQ) ability to make your enemy DANCE in the direction you want. It is fired like a shooting weapon and is great for moving them into charge range. You can do it 3 times even. You roll D6 to see how far you move wherever you like. If you are lucky you can get them over 18" inches across the field.

Perfect for moving them out of cover, off an objective, into charge range or just for the laugh.

Really screws up a well dug in army. Or any formation for that matter.

Yeah, my friend has REALLY screwed up a squad or two when I thought they had a couple of turns to shoot before getting charged and THEN start dancing to "I WILL SURVIVE!" right into charge range.

Honestly, best bit of randomness GW has come up with. If you are a little ecentric you could play your speaker everytime you "shoot" that power.

I don't know much about her stats apart from having 2 wounds, a 4+ or 3+ invo, a huge initiative, a crap-load of attacks, but only T3...mabye T4.

Holy Christwagons. This is the third? fourth? intro thread about a girl. Brothers, I fear this hobby is becoming tainted! What in the wide world of sports is happening!

LOL. Anyway, welcome to the dark nether regions of the web. Don't mind me, I'm just the attack dog. I don't have rabies. Or do I? LOL.

Also, am I the only one noticing that all the girlies play slannesh?

Girls are most certainly allowed to play Warhammer... especially if they own at it!

There are many out there who do just that!

Not all girls choose slaneesh.

The good, well-mannered, nice ones choose SoB.

However (And I believe I've said this before), there are 3 kind of 40k chicks.

1) Those who collect Slaneesh.
2) Those who collect Witch Hunters.
3) Those who collect whatever the feth they want (which may include either 1 or 2)

I'd just like to point out...and I am wearing my "Captain Obvious" hat right now...but the average thread length in the intro section is right at a page.

That is until...a thread titled "Hello, I'm Hillary" appears, and predictably, we're nearing half a dozen pages.

Regardless, welcome, and paint something.
