lol i made a couple of them. also scratch built my own grav tank when armorcast came out with their version of the epic one. it was all card board and 2 small spoons to make the cannon front. there also used to be rules in Rogue trader and 2nd edition to make your own vehicle and vehicle variants. ahh 40K now is sooo coookie cutter.

I agree, and below is a picture of my progress for today.

I know, the pose is a bit static, but this is my first one so I wanted to keep it simple. I decided to arm it with a Vulcan Mega-Bolter and a Twin-Barreled Turbo-Laser Destructor.

I think you should try using plasticard. Because painting paper is not so good idea usually...

Yeah... I wish I could, but the paper one took long enough as it was! I can't even imagine having to cut and put together all those pieces in plasticard... *shudder*.

There are other things not show, as he said. Though I would suggest that Rabbidduck make his tau bright, as that is the way of hte Greater Good.

Is it? I thought they chose their colors based on the environment they are meant to fight in.

They do, its just they don't really have camoflague. Their armour is usually defined by a bright colour that is the main colour of the surrounding terrain.

Well, I have a Vehicle Design Rules HTML thing, but you have to have the rules from Chapter Approved 2004 in order to use them. I got them from the internet, I would credit the designers if I could remember who they are! You can make War Machines, which are a bit overcosted compared to Super-Heavy vehicles but have similar capabilities.

It's still in the rough draft but I was thinking of a giant creature with a bulging abdomen fill with spores. It slowly walks up to the enemy and shoots spores through chimneys which choke the air killing enemies and re-animating their bodies.(Think of the Flood infection forms from Halo.)Like I said it's still on the drawing boards so it might not see action for 5 1/2 months.
