Lucky! I always wanted to do the Harakoni Warhawks, but I never got the right Pieces!

My Dark Angels 3rd battle company. Complete 105+ space marines with support all have rhinos and are kitted out appropriately.

Wow, that could put some serious firepower on the field even without any Superheavies...

I have been thinking of doing some massive city scape pieces like this a well with those kits. That looks cool.

Does the Reaver titan come with the base, or did you make that yourself?

Made it myself out of basswood, washers and nuts. I put threaded rod in the ankle joints of the titan so I could screw it onto the base. This way I can make a city, desert and snow base as well so he will always match the terrain he is fighting on.

Im gonna do that when I get a titan, except it will be a fight scene going on around the Titans feet.

Don't we all. Though I think I will start off with a Warhound Titan with a Bolter and Plasma cannon.

How much would it be to get a warhound + shipping to the US? Does anybody know? I may have to scratch-build just because I am a poor person (having two kids and a house payment will do that to you...).

I hate it when that happens! Though no, we are not compensating for anything.

For the warhound, I'd say its about 306.13, depending on what a british pound is worth. I last heard it was around 1.20 USD

Its a lot more than that.

My FW order went from 1400 US to around 2000 us when I added in a chaos warhound.

Ah yes... I guess that means i'll be scratch-building one then.

Speaking of scratch-building: Check out a super-heavy tank I made out of a children's toy: (Please excuse the poor pictures, too big for my photobox!)

Please note the following armament-
-Main Cannon (Battle Cannon or Vanquisher Cannon, I haven't decided yet)

-Missile Launcher
-Plasma Cannon
-Transport Capacity 6, Rear Access Point

That tank is horrible, you just put few missile launchers on it! It is not a scratcbuild, it is a toy tank with few missiles!

I disagree, as i have seen alot worse. Some people actually took BARNEY and made him into a Squiggoth. It was horrid.

Might look pretty nice after painting.

Try having 3 kids, a house payment, gasoline at 4 dollars a gallon, and no college degree to pay for it all in this economy, and we'll see how much money you have to buy forgeworld stuff!

Finding cheaper ways to do things is perfectly ok in apocalypse, because that is not a competitive game anyway. You don't see many Apoc tournaments. I don't see why you have to be like that about it.

Well, I agree with you in the fact that buying things is harder. I myself wanted one of those super mega laser defence turrets, but do not have the monies for it. So I am converting a Basilisk into a Griffon, and taking the bits of the basilisk gun I don't use, and making it into a super mega laser thing. I will be using one of those new Coca cola bottles that look like christmas balls to put on the tree.

Hmm well the way i remember the hobby when it was in its beginings, you scratch built alot of stuff and or modified existing models to server your purpose. GW as been all whiney anc crybaby like with all the new kid gamers now playing 40K...waaa it has to be GW sanctioned and 100% GW products. we really everyone you wouldnt have half the vehicles now you have if it wasnt for fans and scratch builders inventing alot of the kits you see now...
