I like how they seem to put some restrictons on the Doctor's power.

I remember in Tennants last episode, he's zapping his screwdriver at something and the aliens try leaving with the ship, so he turns around and just zaps a control panel and the entire ship just shuts down.

That really annoyed me.

I really liked that episode. I'm liking the new doctor persona more an more. Calling Amy "Pond" like a stuffy teacher, and my favourite line "River, hug Amy. I'm busy." Classic.

I was worried about the gun in the trailer of Ep 1, but now my worry has been soothed, I'm delighted.

The recent episode had some cracking lines e.g.
"Ooh Dr. you soniced her"
and
"You bit me", "Yeah, and your alive. Now run!"

Due to work restrictions blocking my ability to watch previous Doctors, (I worked Saturday nights up until September last year) this is the first time I have been able to watch weekly and see the stories first hand with the rest of the UK audience.

I'm loving it if I'm honest, and I'm really enjoying Matt Smith as the Doctor. I liked Tennant as well, (slowly catching up with the older series thanks to the DVD magazine) but I would certainly place Smith above Eccleston so far.

I had feared he'd be annoying from the clips we got at the end of the final Tennant episode, but I love the character he brought to the role, his cocky laugh he does makes me grin when ever he does it.

Great show so far, and damn those Angels, I was jumpy walking home from work at 10pm last night.
