The only DKoK unit that has shotguns is the engineers- basically the only choice that I'm buying official models for...
I might get some anway for inquisitorial henchmen or something...I'll wait until C:GK comes out...

if possible the voxcaster would be superb^^
well i could send you a pot no problem there, but expect long waiting.... i send neil something before chrimbo and it took way too long but i will do so...if you want a pot it might belonger as then i will do a package and this will take some time... needs to be built^^

i´ve run again havok on ebay and found q2uite some good parts as replacements for mags for shotguns... tau and marines have lots of usable stuff.. ad if all fails we could use scoutarms with shotguns^^ the have them for sure... and they wouldn´t be the worst looking ones^^

my oldset son has holidays tomorrow , winter ones so we will head to GW shop and buy a few paints and stuff and hopefully we will afterwards get some time to paint some of his minis...

we´ll see, and now off to bed mate , me too, vik

so i have now three arms for the future use of veterans as shotgunwielders...need now some divesifications as i couldn´t stand the idea of seven minis with the same arm...

I've finished my version of a shotgun.

get a bolter.
cut off the magazine, sight, and barrel.
glue 2x 2mm plasticard rods where the barrel was (in a vertical line- the rods are the same size as the bolter barrel)
get a heavy bolter mag and glue that on.
drill the plasticard rods.

ta da!

I will soon, probably this weekend, along with some pics of my WIP imperial fist libby, commander lenore and honour guard champion. I'd just like to mention that I dropped my heav bolter mag on the floor and it disappeared, so I've got an ork shoota boy's trimmed-down mag instead. It does look quite convincing, and soon I'll cast it and send you guys some if you want some if shipping isn't too much.

yep carpets are a devil send for modelers... i considered for a few secs a medeling apron once... you then stick the cloth to the table and trala^^ nothing ever disapears... but alas mostly my cut offs just soar freely through the air i would have to make it allover airthight...like a oxygen tent...

well did a quick shop built^^ and here it is from bolter to shotgun...my idea... couldn´t find suitable heavy mag and i dont know particular why anyway...

my version is similar, but with more chunky & short barrels and no safety (magazine covers it)
I'll post, and I much prefer my version to the scout ones, even though they're kinda similar.

i imagine it to be a quick fire shotgun like a Spas...12 inch gauge shotgun a real mean machine...

How about a drum magazine on top a la a Vickers or Thompson?

Hmmm on second thoughts, rapid heavy recoil may do more arm to gun and shooter than the target!

Nice Shotguns! Addition of drum fed magazine is awesome for the whole combat-shotgun effect. Can't wait to see the troops with them.

well for a caidian there is a lefetime expectancy of a mere 30 seconds? so gun failure and hamr for arms is something not taken into much account with the armory?...

as for the vickers or the thompson? on to`p? i thought these had them hanging too? would you care to show me a pic of that?

the resin fumes must be addling my brain...

like the lewis gun, know her of a game i played till my fingers bled^^....silent storm, thats a realy good strategic game and i recommend it to all that would be willing^^

will not talk about resin fumes^^

but back to shotguns...the flat disclike mag of the lewis and the sten mag would look not shotgun like...
what about mounting the bolter mag on top and have it look like a brengun?
would that still be looking like a shotgun?...

now there is a thought to be having.... my praetorians with brengunlike lasguns...hmmmm....

Bren gun type mag sounds interesting.
Maybe make it bulkier with triple width rather than a single strip of bullets like the Bren mag
