The Tau battlesuit. there's pics all over the place.

Ahhh the Tau, im thinking of doing Renegade Legion as my main nemesis (both as i have several Vehicles already Modeled, and to show the size of space marines in comparison to regular humans), Not Sure which branch of Xeno's im hitting first, in regards to modelling (Tau for ease of "hard surface modelling, Nids because i need that kind of headache, Dark Eldar cause some of the newer models are really cool, or Orcs cause , well ... you cant have too many Orcs in your life.)

Maybe i'll do a poll to find out what Dakka members would like to see.

Seriosuly though, I would like to see what someone of your skill could do to the tau.

Love all the models so far, RB. But, to me, the terminator still looks to short in the legs.

that aside, these modes are gorgeous and show a simply amazing skill set, nicely done!

any way we could get a shot of all the Marine renders together?

we could see if they are all scaled to each other correctly.

reduced his "Breast Plate" slightly, removed his holster belt due to skinning issues and placed it wrapped around his legx2 might do it to the opposite side to break up his thigh as it looks kinda plain.

still need to texture the flesh and weapons and hair.

Ever consider doing some custom work for others? Like for wallpapers and such.

the Scout's bipod's legs are too short and stubby, and they need to be moved back.
Besides that, I love everything! Termie's my favorite!

Yes at least one skull or skull imagery incorporated in his armor.

Maybe you can use the symbol of Khorne splayed across his chest.

I don't know, for a mere guardsman I think he's a bit icon-heavy. I realise that most Traitor warbands aren't exactly going to have a heavy Marine presence, but if I were a CSM and I saw a puny little human trying to be such a show-off about his supposed martial might, I'd squash him like a bug.

The way he's splashing around Khorne's symbol, you'd think he was an Aspiring Champion; you don't see that much on Renegades.

Otherwise, I really like it, it'd be awesome if they did a plastic line of Guard that looked like that

update to Renegade Legion, pulled the grotesque and went with a baclava, fixed his breastplate. not sure if he is still 4ok enough, instead of skulls hanging from his belt i might do eitherr hands or ears.

i will probably slap an 8 arrows or skull on his chest when i texture him

i think i might pull his right kneepad and i might add a shin guard, but i dont want him to be too armored.

Looks good. I'd prolly go with an 8 pointed star on his chest but it should like it was drawn on in blood and deffinetly want some kind of body part hangin from the belt or well thats my 2 cents worth. But overall looks great.

I would muddy him up abit. they won't be taking very good care of their equipment and these guys look like they are taking very good care of their stuff.

things like ritual scars, tears in their clothing and armor, maybe a few missing fingers...

and I do agree there are too many Khorne symbols. maybe each dude would have 1 somewhere on his body. possably not on his equipment but as a ritual scar in his skin(or maybe a bloody smear on his armor)

these guys will be carrying their original guard issue equipment, it will be highly unlikely for them to have manufacturing facilities capable of stamping Khorne symbols on things.


Imperial Aquilas will add a nice touch, suitible defilied of course.

@Grey-most of the damage will probably be depicted in the texturing phase, dirt, scratches, dings, nicks, etc.

iwill probably pull some of the iconography from him, maybe more spikey bits vs. Khorne symbols.

The enforcer looks good, though i dont like the fangs, but the rest of the skull looks top notch.
