I didn't get my ticket email for a couple weeks after I bought mine. You may want to see if Reece knows someone to email about it.

Yeah, i wouldn't stress. The ticket sales aspect of it is handled by the company running the entire event, of which we are only one part so I have no control over how and when they are sent. I do know though, that I will have a complete list of who all is coming before the event, so everyone will be good to go.

Are you sure the email didn't have a PDF of the tickets? That's what they sent me.

Just checked again, there isn't a PDF. The email says they are going to email me the tickets later... Now I am worried

Just to clarify, they sent me an email immediately upon ordering the tickets (on the 16th) letting me know they would be sending them to me later and then last Wednesday they sent me another email with a PDF attached of the ticket (sent from webmaster@extimahosting.com).

Terrible rules-writing no doubt, but given that you basically can't play it RAW in any kind of sensible way lets you know that it can't be right.

We'll make sure everyone is taken care of. Don't stress if you haven't gotten your email just yet. Definitely keep us in the loop, but we will have a master list and send out an email confirmation so you know you are good to go.

Are we required to turn in a list prior to the event?

We would like everyone to bring a list at the day of the event for us to have. As well as one to show to all of your opponents.

The correct answer should be that you show up with 7 copies of your list.
1 for the judges
1 for yourself
5 to hand to each of your opponents

I would like to second this motion. It's so helpful when you get home after a long weekend and friends ask you what was in which army.

Correct, we should present our opponent with a copy of the list. Could this be enforced? At Ard Boyz, prelims and semis, as well as the BAO I had opponents who not only didn't offer a list but when prompted didn't have one to give me. It always makes me a little suspicious when someone at a major event doesn't outright present the list let alone have one to give me, perhaps I am being paranoid but it gets under my skin for some reason.

Worded it a bit wrong haha. But that was what I meant to say. Every player needs a list for all 6 games, as well as one to give to us the judges.

@thread
Yeah, you have to give your opponent a copy of your list before the game starts. I will add that to the OP.

We've still got some room left, guys. Grab your ticket quick and be a part of this event! The bigger the impression we make with this first one, the better. This company is willing to take this event all over the country and so far they like what they see.

Grab your tickets soon before they sell out and help to bring these events all over the usa!

Thanks!

this seem like a great event. Weird point value but oh well. I am not sure how I feel about capture and control seriously being used in a competitive setting. I think that is a mistake on your part.

The point limit had been decided on because of time issues. Having 4 games in 1 day can take a toll on people. We also plan to drop this years Bay Area Open to 1750pts as well for the same reasons. As far as capture and control being used, its a great way to spread out the overall field of play. As mentioned before, book missions offer the greatest degree of balance to the game.

Heres a couple pictures of our new and improved terrain pieces. There's still a whole lot more in boxes. We're all working hard to make it look that much better then it all did at the BAO. Enjoy.

Not everyone plays Bugs! Haha.

Most of them do block LOS completely, but there is the occasional window or open doorway.

We've been working on some new terrain too, that will really help with LOS.
