My first instinct is Mal or Wash (War stories is the second best Firefly episode after Ariel), but the more I think about it the more I like this guy:

This, B5 is without doubt THE best Sci-Fi show ever.
Babylon 5 was a great show, it ran for several seasons but it is still one of those rare, magical moments when you come across someone familiar with the show. My favorite Sci-fi character would have to be God Emperor Leto from Dune.
