It is that "get the kids to convince mom and dad to drop the cash for a new army and who cares if they keep playing it" mentality of marketing.
Of course as long as they have employees they'll have a ready market for their figures as the employees will keep buying stuff to keep their armies fresh. I've wondered if there is a rotation in the staff of a
GW store: OK I bought the last army, Bob it is your turn to buy this new army and Dave you are next in the queue. Someone has to buy all the new armies and make them exciting for the customers. Or maybe I'm just being too cynical.
