The blood drop on the shoulder pad is neat! Ill have to give you another whirl with that glaze to make it all shiny. the white DC really works well IMHO, fantastic so far, cant wait for more

Bud. Your picture orientation is throwing me off!

Other wise i like. I'd go back in and do a bit more highlighting on the red to make it pop. Other wise your washes look good!

Thanks LDP! From you that means alot! Yea, not having a blue wash means the drop just looks incomplete..... It's on the list though

I first looked at the chaplain and thought 'hmm, he's maybe leaning a little too much backwards' then I figured he actually looks kickass! That's a solid landing pose and with the jump pack I think this guys gunna look fantastic! Posing is a really important aspect of having a neat army, and you've done a good job here. Well done.
Great work on the bases too! & the shoulder pad yellows are pretty dang solid!

Nice update. I'm really liking the Chappy.

Small bit of C&C, the red on your DC (the white models) looks a bit flat, and thin in places, note sure if it's the photo's but. I'd give it a couple of thin coats with the base coat to bring it up a bit, then highlight with and orangey red. The new Wild Rider Red from GW is retty good I've found.

I think the Wild Rider Red is one of the new colours. (not 100% this, someone correct me if I'm wrong)

I think you could get a similar tone with a mix of Blood Red and Blazing Orange though. I'd start 1:1 and graduially add more Blazing Orange til you're happy with the tone though.

The new mini is looking really crisp. Great job.

Alright guys 'n' gals, I need a hand here.... Every photo that I take is terrible, the yellow looks awful, and nothing like it actually looks in person.. Anything I can do?

All I can really say is better lighting, maybe try near a window or a flurecent (spelling?) light?

Does your camera have a macro setting? It's a setting used for close up photography, especially of small objects.

It should be represented on your camera as a little flower it should look a little something like this:

Thanks for the kind words n my P&M blog by the way. I'm pretty slow for updates, but should have my dev squad up by the end of the month.

My old camera, that I was using before, had macro, but my new phone (samsung galaxy S) doesn't have it. You just tap the screen where you want to focus, that seems to do the same thing. Maybe a white sheet of paper in the background should fix my photo problems.

Thanks guys!

Oh and BTW, if you have time you should check out Evildrcheese's blog, some very nice painting in there.

Like a blank piece of paper, slightly curving so the sharp edges don't throw it off.

I think the photo is an actual improvement. I agree you should find a suitable color background to use. Something that isn't replecting light. I like dark blue or black. Also indirect or filtered lighting helps. direct lighting caruse the yellow to " white out" the figure.

Start asking around to some of the more professional photo guys- the ones whose photography you like and ask them what they do. Dakka is great for that.
